@barber747 That's a good question! I was thinking about that too. First, I think that he would do anything for that girl and if he could he would buy her some moonlight to wear. Second: Moon is shining and maybe he thinks the same for the girl..That she's simply gloving and maybe moonlight will help her to shine even more. There are a lot of ways to discuss the meaning of this metaphor and i think it depends on u how will u experience and understand that :)

@asdfero Well Actually this song was not composed by Quincy Jones. It was composed by Kathy Wakefield, Tony Coleman, and Benjamin Wright. Quincy Jones is the artist for this song, but James Ingram ended up doing vocals....So Quincy Jones is respectfully the artist for the song.
