  • That's a Cadet and not a Plebe. The Plebe would have had Plebe stamped right below the American Standard logo. The Plebe also had a different bowl and drain design.

  • March 21, 1981 appears to be the date of mfg. on the tank.

  • the round bowl plebes flush much better than that and that seems to apply to most 3.5 gpf toilets

    But seriously this toilet is original to the expansion of my house before my family moved in in 1998, the expansion was done 1983 or 1985.

  • I have the same toilet, but last week my brother flushed a toilet paper holder down it so we now have to try to some how fish it out. I agree I have never seen theese toilet clog until my brother clogged it lol.

  • yea my grandfather has same one but its 46 years old and its a teal color. it never clogged. he flushed a tooth brush and went down lol

  • i have a simmilar toilet with round bowl and it doesnt clog my mom has an exact toilet as mine and it clogs not reaaly clog but it doesnt flush everything thing down in one flush

  • yeah, it sometimes takes 2 flushes lol
