@FrkHoltegaard I loved the casting of Mr. Rochester and their playfulness in the 2006 version, but the plot changes really bothered me. In all honesty, I feel that people liked it better because they were more physical. I'm super excited for this adaption too!!

@therubysinger Im in up north Canada lol and this movie has been out since march but I just looked up the release date for the UK *and you wont like this* but the movie wont come out in the UK till september 9,2011. To make you feel kinda better it comes out on 22nd of september in Netherlands. :( If I find any links online to the movie i'll post it on your page because I would hate to wait that long

@therubysinger Nowhere online unfortunatly, :( I went to the theater to watch it and its only showing in select theaters so my best advice is for you to go check out your local theater anything nearby because you wont find it online.

Just finished watching the new addaptation and let me tell you its AMAZING!! for the people who did not read the book it might leave you a tad confused but for the people who did you will find it stunning! i LOVE the new jane and rochester. I think the reason why some people might like the 2006 version better is because that version is much more romantic and doesnt have much of the gothic atmosphere as this one does. But i love the intensity,romance and suspence of this movie! GO WATCH IT!

One of my favourite novels. All young women should read it – it's so empowering. Looks like an incredible adaptation; they've caught the atmosphere and lighting of Yorkshire (where I live) beautifully :)
