What about his duty to his fans - nobody ever said being an aging rock star was going to be easy. If Ian doesn't want to do it anymore, then stop and quit letting the fans down. But he doesn't play masterous artistic inspirational solos anymore. All of his latest REAL solos sound the same. Simplified electric era. He's going to simple these days. There is no virtouosity in his solos anymore.
