My cat oliver is the same but with only a certian kind of ball.. it has to be one of his bouncy balls, if not he will look at you like your dumb. He also goes long and meows if you dont throw it when he wants

Hi everyone. Thanks for the nice comments! There wasn't any training involved. We just randomly discovered that he liked to play fetch. In fact, now sometimes when I'm laying in bed he'll come over to me with the toy in his mouth, drop it on my chest, and start meowing. It's his way of demanding play time. And the little guy has so much energy! I can't keep up!
