  • Can't really complain...

  • and a family photo at the end

  • A sharingan on the red V? o_o

  • hey dude! i noticed a lot of people are asking you question but id really appreciate it if you answered this. how thick is the body of a razorback V? and would you recommend a razorback or a razorback V? please respond

  • @TheMetalhead804 The body on the Razorbacks aren't thick at all! They aren't heavy guitars but certainly don't lack in tone. And I prefer the V's. Primarily because I play standing up most of the time, and V shaped guitars look cooler, and have way better upper fret access when playing standing up. I like both, just prefer V's.

  • It must be cool having rich folks

  • @JohnnyWunderboy2 Ignorance is bliss my friend - no, my parents didn't pay for much apart from my first Dean Razorback and maybe a few pedals.

  • i really want that white razorback

  • is the bugera any good?

  • nice fucking usa dean guitars and jackson i want usa models so bad

  • nice fucking usa dean guitars i want usa models so bad

  • hi woud you ever sell your ivory white/ gold dean razorback?

if not....where could i find myself one?

  • a want a room like that, a have the technique now but just not enough money to buy the guitars ur lucky dude an ur really gd at guitar too :)

  • You have some really nice gear, although I'd upgrade amps pretty soon.

  • @johnnyluvstacos Yeap. After I get my custom USA Dean I'm replacing the Bugera. It'll be a nice backup amp if anything. Definitely going for an ENGL Blackmore or Powerball II.

  • @AhsanU Awesome dude!!!! I played a Powerball II once and after I was finished with it, I had to collect my melted face in a cup and walk away.

  • hey man you have great taste in gear. im looking at getting the dean usa razorback v skulls and i would really appreciate it if you answered how much did it cost? i cant find a price for it anywhere online. pleas help

  • @kurtcobain804 I believe the guitar is no longer being made. Brand new, you're looking at about 3-3.5 grand depending on where you can possibly find it. Good luck.

  • @AhsanU ok thank you. i have $4,000 and i really really really want a dime wah an mxr gt od overdrive and an ibanez mtm 2 and a jackson king v, do you think its worth it to get the dean usa skulls over all of that stuff? please reply. and again amazing taste in gear. trivium 4 life

  • @kurtcobain804 Well, I can't really help you there man. The Razorback V Skulls was my dream guitar, and I'd take it over just about everything else. If you need the wah and the OD pedal to improve your tone then I'd say go for that. The Jackson KV2 (assuming you're getting a KV2 and not a KV, I haven't played a KV) is an amazing guitar as well, you will NOT be disappointed with it. Finding the Razorback V might also be difficult.

  • can I get the number of the guy who painted your guitar? because my razorback is just black and I want to change it

  • I get the feeling that you like Trivium. Nice collection/equipment by the way!

  • Dude you should buy a Dean, I hear their pretty cool.

  • just wandering can u get any dean guitar usa made or just certain guitars and does it matter on the price on ow good it is??

  • @CloudySteak Dean probably would not build a whole new shaped guitar for you, but they're willing to change more than a few things on their current line up of guitars (amount of strings, frets, pickups, paint colour, scale length, etc.) The price depends on the type of wood, and the amount of work needed to build the actual guitar. So prices will vary, contact your local Dean dealer and they'll be more than happy to speak to you regarding a custom build. Just know they're not cheap.

  • @AhsanU Thanks

  • Just wondering... Do you like trivium?

  • hey dude i got a question whats the diffrence on the fret work between a import razorback and a usa? dose the usa have extra jumbo? or is it the same fret wire thats on the imports

  • I'm soooo jealous right now man. Good stuff.

  • nice paint job?!! fucking awesooome!

  • awesome tiny amp

  • awesome tiny amp

  • You should contact Svee Wheeler he does really good paint jobs

  • do the razorbacks all have an original floyd rose? or a licensed that stays well in tune?

  • @wolfman109h Depends on what era Razorback you get. An early era imported one will come with a licensed Floyd Rose (a.k.a LFR) that aren't the best but do the job just fine. But a newer one will you a a Chinese made original Floyd Rose (a.k.a OFR). The Chinese made OFR isn't as sturdy as the German made OFR by Schaller, but it's just fine. And all USA made Razorback's have German made OFR's.

  • fkn sweet guitar collection man im gettin the white and gold razorback tomorro pretty exited

  • I can see you love Blackouts a lot. You perfer them?

  • Mini-Marshalls ftw

  • dude, you have too much money xD

  • Agile 4tw

  • i have a question, i want a new amp im looking at a peavey tube combo amp but my local shop has a peavey xxl and line 6 cab on sale for 400 bucks which should i get?

  • love your guitars. but i dont realy like the scull razorback you had painted but thats just my oppinion. i realy like the razorback v you had painted. you could get dean t do you a custom scull paint job on a razorback so it looks exact but i ges that would cost quite a bit

  • my cousin is Anatoth's drummer

  • im assuming Trivium is your fave band? ;P ;)

  • im want the Ml ATF300 i love it!!!

  • Please respond, how much were those paintjobs?

  • @faggotball 400-450 + shipping.

  • What does the "Retainer" do on that Interceptor 7?

  • @killer118008 The retainer keeps the guitar in tune before you lock the nut up. Basically, if I'm retuning the guitar, the locking nuts aren't locked in. And if I didn't have the retainer, the guitar would go slightly flat/sharp after I locked them. The retainer just keeps the guitar in the same tuning after locking the nuts.

Keep in mind, it needs to be done correctly. It doesn't work if you install a retainer incorrectly. A luthier shouldn't charge much (if any at all) do install one.

  • @AhsanU OH! I see, my Dean has locking tuners and I have that problem but I never knew I could fix it, thank you! And your collection is amazing! I want a razorback so bad!!

  • Comment removed

  • Expenisve gear man!!!! Beautifull!

  • love you guitars man but i have a question, did they discontinue the white(ivory) and gold razorback?

  • @jcisthemusicgoddess They never discontinued it. They had a limited import run of 24, and they made 10 or so USA ones. I'm fairly sure you can get your hands on one if you order it. Keep in mind, it'll probably cost a pretty penny.

  • You have a pretty sweet collection there mate! I especially like third DEAN Razorback. Just plain beautiful......

  • Midget-Marshalls rock! I've got one too, it's really loud :O

  • Beautiful Deans my friend!!! I'm getting my very first Dean flying V sometime this week!!! I'm so excited!!!!!!!!! What pickups would you reccomend putting in it though? EMG 81/85's of Seymour Duncan Blackouts?

  • Definitely Blackouts, I prefer them over any pair of EMG's you throw at me.

  • im pickin up a BC RIch jr v 7 and i want some kickass pickups should i get EMGs or some Blackouts i play all Trivium and my band plays a mix of trivium, behemoth, suidakra. and Unearth thanks in advance bro

  • @ATFallen123 I prefer Blackouts over EMG's. I, in fact, replaced the EMG's in my Interceptor 7 after receiving it immediately.

  • @AhsanU thanks but ive decided to go for and esp ltd v-50 and throw in the blackouts and then a floyd later on either that or get the v-401 deluxe and replace the emgs

  • hey wats up! i was just wondering what amp you would say gives the best tone for about $400 (maybe $100 more or less) because right now i have a peavey vypyr 75w and i dont like the tone and just recently my friend brought over his line 6 spider IV 30w and it sounded a lot better than my amp. I was just gonna trade it in and get a 120w spider IV but i wanna explore all my options first. Any suggestions?!

  • @DrFeelgood992 Your price is bang on for a brand new Bugera 6262 or a Bugera 333XL, but that's assuming you have a cabinet. If you're looking for a combo amp then I suggest you look into a Peavey 6505+ 1x12 combo, or a 5150 2x12. Basically, go for something with tubes in it. Solid state amps sound great, but the prices these days for amplifiers is make it a buyers market.

I highly suggest you look into Peavey combos or Bugera combos.

  • @AhsanU so u dont suggest Line 6 120w spider IV or havent u tryed it

  • @DrFeelgood992 get a line 6 dude

  • Wow, nice!! May i ask what you do for a living?

  • somebody likes there trivium lol

  • oh n does ur friend paint other guitars or just deans and how much does he charge

  • He paints everything. If you're serious about a job being done on your guitar, contact him. He can be found on the Dean Guitars forum, look for a guy with the username "sac". His real name is Matt.

  • @AhsanU how much does he usually charge because i have a jackson kelly i want to get painted to have the skulls graphics like u have on ur kv2 all i want is to know how much he charged u for whivhever guitar u got painted i would have to wait a lil while cuz a half stack will have to come first before my preference in the appearenc of my guitars

  • Hey man nice vid i want a 7 string so bad,iam planning on getting one but the local music stores here dont have any so i have on question for you how does the neck feel on these 7 string? i hear its like using a totally different insturment?

  • It's like a transition from bass guitar to electric guitar really. At first, you're like "holy shit this is weird", but you get used to it and are able to transition from instrument to instrument. In this case, from 6 string to 7 string. The neck feels great really, but it comes down to what kind of 7 string guitar you buy. Ibanez 7 strings have huge fat necks, whereas Agile and Dean's and Schecter's do not.

  • wat do u use the phase 90 for cos im thinking of getting one but dont no were to use it

  • I usually use the Phase 90 for when I'm writing solos or just want a slight phase effect on a certain note. I also use it to play Corey's solos because he uses it often. Most noticeably in Throes Of Perdition and Becoming The Dragon.

  • u stole matts guitar!!!lol

  • Damn awesmoe *__* but where is your Dean ML Black Gold series ???

    Rock On \m/,

  • @TWEjustinTWE Sold it =[ I really regret doing so now, I miss it! I'll get another ML soon hopefully.

  • dude wat will u recommend emg's or blackouts

  • I'm definitely a Blackouts kinda guy, I'd take Blackouts over EMG's any day of the week.

  • how much did u pay the guy to paint ur guitars?

  • nice gear

  • dude i want your white razorback so much how much did that work of art cost

  • dude is the 6262 better then the 6505 because i ive been hearing mixed opinons and i cant really find a 6262 around me

  • @ATFallen123 it depends on what kind of tone you like i have a 6505 combo and it sounds great but ive played a 6262 and they sound pretty good niether one is it depends on what your looking for in tone

  • I love my 6262. I've tried 6505+'s and 5150 II's, and they sound virtually the same. The 6505+ doesn't have a true clean channel but the Bugera does. Whilst the Bugera may have reliability issues, the Peavey does not.

They're both great, but I just couldn't pass up the Bugera, especially for the price. The only issue is the cabinet, which really isn't great. A Marshall 1960 cabinet would compliment a 6262 perfectly.

  • y take the backing plates off does it do somethin just all ways wondered

  • @staceygizmo07 the more screws you have in the wood, the less it resonates, so you take out the screws for the back plate

  • What Erock said, but I mainly took the plate off because the Floyd block was too large and I was too lazy to sand it down. So I just let it hang out. It doesn't stick out that much either, so my playability is not affected.

  • sick collection man, youre a pretty awesome player too. im not a dean fan AT ALL i like jackson and gibson but your deans are all so sexy looking that i think i want one hahaha. oh and btw how much does and agile like that run? i want to get a decent 7 string but i also dont wanna spend 1500 for a japanese Jackson Soloist 7 version.
