i hated the last part of this level. in the compactor, i found that the portals couldn't be fired at surfaces that were eligible.very frustrating. i gave up.

I liked the idea of this one. Sneaking around the "back section." However, the actual execution of the gameplay and quality of the map itself are just not up to par. Everything was too finicky and touchy and everything had to be exactly perfect. I thought the premise was great but found the actual run-through extremely irritating and frustrating.

That lift puzzle had me totally stumped. I feel bad for looking at the solution but I don't think I would have ever got it. My portalling skills aren't as strong as I had thought.

its creepy because it was abandoned after hl1 when the headcrabs and aliens came through and then the military came in and started killing the scientists. So it is a abandoned research facility. Thats creepy..

Black Mesa was destroyed after HL1. There is no facility anymore, just hole in the ground from a nuke.
