This doesnt work for every map. Brutal has the tendency to just flank you and screw those base defences. And its impossible on most maps to wall off every little gap, so basically, most of the time, you are always screwed against brutal

Great game-play, I would have lost within the first wave of enemies that attacked me, but you kept your cool through out the entire game without hesitating. I loved playing this game and always will enjoy it, Kanes Wrath for the 360 is awesome, but has a big problem to it, one you are using a controller rather than your keyboard and two you are limited to only 100 units which sucks major ass and pisses me off.

I like the way in C&C in that you can select what behaviour the AI has (like Turtle, rush, steamroll, ect.) Not even RA3 (gg btw) had this feature.

That was a great watch. Do you think you could show this same strat in a Tourny map? I'm still struggling to defeat the brutal AI but this video gave me some better ideas for build orders. The only kicker is that most maps dont have a perfect chokepoint or blue tib fields to exploit so easily.

I tried using your combinations..don't you think they're somewhat complicated? There's no pattern. Shift+F to build barracks then q to go to vehicles, then Shift+R to build harvester?!? It should have been Shift+G coz it's next to the third option. Sorry but it's confusing xD

I've searched for that hotkey but it's not listed in the menu.

@StarFury2 F1, F2... are hotkeys for selecting structures. He pressed F1 for selecting the power plant which was ready to be placed. The hotkeys are also mentioned in the description of the structure. Press E for switching between production tabs, R for defenses, t for infantry and so on.

@MrWarlock616 Yes, I figured it soon after posting question. But thank you for a nice reply anyway. By the way, Function keys are kinda far to reach and slow, so I remapped my own. For example E-structure tab => shift+E - build/place rafinery, T-vehicles tab => Shift+T build Predator tank, and so on. Pretty good hotkey possibilities.

@MrWarlock616 My personal layout is a bit tangled, but I made it to suits my fingers. To do what you said I would hit E (structures tab) then Shift+F (build barracks), then Q (switch to vehicles tab) followed by Shift+R (build one or more harvesters). Meanwhile when barracks finishes I would press Shift+F to place it, and F (to enter infantry tab) then queue a mix of rifleman and rocket squads by holding Shift and alternating between W and E several times.

@MrWarlock616 This way you've done many commands in very short time without a single click or a movement of the mouse, and your hand never left the WASD area. Also, I put WASD as a map scroll (switched from default cursor keys) cause key scroll is like 3x faster than scrolling with your mouse (unless you trained yourself to use rapid scroll). Also rally-point (Shift+R) is very important and should be changed to something easier. Try your own layout if you want, it can really improve gameplay =)

i dont think so the brutal ai dont have the doble tiberium is a legend the problem is we spawn without knowing what is the coast the ai is a robot and it calculates everything and how many units he can use and the mor efective way :D say thanks to calculator lololololo

@TheOnlyKells Hard to say. I was a fan of the Red Alert series/universe in the past, but I like the Tiberium series/universe far more now. Red Alert 3 has some changes done to it, like those in regard to resources, so look up reviews and see I guess. I like Tiberium Wars quite a bit better, but both games are ones you can't go wrong with though (just stay away from Command & Conquer 4!)

Whenever I play with my friends we all build a crane, power plant, and refinery in where you start. Then we move our mvc's into whoever has the "good spot" (The one diagonal of the AI") We then mass turrets and see how long we can hold out

I love to play vs brutal since hard is "too easy". I still struggle a little, but I'd like to see EA make a very hard difficulty.

@oOodiTiboOo Try two Hard opponents or one Hard opponent and one Medium opponent. I find that two Hard opponents 1vs2 is still easier than going up against a single Brutal opponent 1vs1 most of the time, which is odd since the Brutal opponent is like two Hard opponents rolled into one.

@skudstorm44 Heh, part of the reason I did it was because I have had SO much practice on that map, so I admittedly can't just beat a brutal AI no problem in any case. That's how you beat a brutal though. Practice, practice, practice. I'm alright at the game, but nowhere near top teir competitive. I'm having more fun making custom maps and skirmishes these days. This map here actually looks bad compared to some of my recent ones.

@denizhan2010 You gotta be quick and waste no time. Have your build order/initial strategy ready. Practice, practice, practice, then refine. Keyboard shortcuts help (of which I didn't take too much advantage of in this video). Generally, trying what I did here won't always work the best. You need to be more quick with units, but usually, either rushing, or a turtle then steamroller, tactics works best for me.
