Thats not all there is to bunting. You can't just put your bat out there and hope it goes fair. You ave to push the ball with the bat. When your coach says, lay down a bunt, it means lay it down to the ground. There's no point in trying to bunt if you're going to just hold the bat out because it would foul tip. You have to push the ball towards the ground if you want it on the ground.

No not every bunt is for the team retard. You have no idea what a drag bunt is, its to get on base idiot.

you never "go up" to bunt unless it is a squeeze. the bat should start at the top of the strike zone, anything above it is a ball, take the bat away. this avoids the pop-up double play.
