What version is this? The Megadrive version had much better sound. One my all time favorite games. Did you know this game was based off of the film "They Live"? Fighting the aliens in the latter levels was bloody scary!

Prince of Persia, Another World, Heart of the Alien, Flashback, Heart of Darkness, Oddworld... I just nostalgiad my pants by thinking of all those games.

Only modern game I can think of that comes somewhat close is Shadow Complex, though it's more of a Metroidvania style game. Imagine how awesome a Flashback sequel in the Shadow Complex "engine" would be.

Fun Fact! Did you know the backgrounds in this were actually HAND PAINTED? That's right, someone actually painted them and then digitized them as the background for the stages.

Way ahead of it's time there... and the story was excellent as always. Finally beat it, well worth it. If you can get a ROM and Emulator, I suggest you give it a shot.
