@blissnabob After the Leeds game, I don't think anyone should worry about his Arsenal legacy being ruined. If you've watched enough of Henry, you'll know that his technical ability still puts him among the best players in the world, even at 34. No one expects him to play like he did when he was 24 years old. In his early 20's he was the fastest player I've ever seen running with ball down the wing, but his technical ability still remains supreme.
@bolder2009 sorry but saying he's still one of the best players in the world at 34 is a joke. He's not even in the top 200 anymore. But when he was at his best, he was the greatest premier league striker of all time, and one of the greatest players of all time.
@Mrcypher1233 You obviously didn't understand what I said. As far as TECHINICAL ABILITY is concerned he is still among the best players in the world in terms of skill set, touch, control, accuracy. And I stand by that.
@bolder2009 Ahh but you didn't say that...you said those qualities make him among the best players in the world and i quote 'his technical ability still PUTS HIM among the best players in the world'. And no that's wrong too...his vision and brain may still be there but he definitely has lost the quickness of skill, control and accuracy of his shots. His legacy wont be ruined, but his lack of pace and long previous detatchment from the PL could see some lacklustre performances like today.
@Mrcypher1233 Fair play. I should have phrased it differently. I agree about the quickness and reaction time but not the rest. Its hardly a lack lustre performance. The chance which could have made it 3-3 unfortunately fell to Mertersacker. Henry came into the game at a time when Swansea were all over Arsenal, whose midfield and defence were struggling most of the second half. He made the most out of the little to no service he got, and put good balls in the path of RVP and Walcott.
congratulate the MASTER! haha even commentators called him the master and such. only messi and ronaldo are called magicians and such these days. this guy is a fucking legend man
@pioneer1412 He said it to the ref, because he kept making Henry move the ball back, which Henry wasn't happy about. He duly obliged anyway and dispatched the freekick expertly and turned to the ref and said 'is that enough'..

I watched this, the ref was biast by making him retake the kick so he scored again (luckily) so he said is that enough for you to the ref.
Super97Gamer 5 months ago
@Super97Gamer its not lucky if you can score 2 free kicks in a row from that far out. Its skill.

He said it to the referee because he made him retake the freekick after scoring previously.
