Hi Staffan, beautiful as always. And I love your slow food analogy. Our lives are fast paced enough, I love it when I can get out into the kitchen and cook, taking my time and enjoying handling the ingredients (in season of course). Robbie
Looking in on your world of music . is always a pleasure...such an amazing technology , where we find music that is so wonderfull..... Your words of slowing things down & listening is so so cool... Listening is a key to life... I always go on a creative journy when I tune into your You Tube music ... Hoping your Christmas is fun filled and the Happiest New Year to You & Yours ....Alberta
I loved it, like I love my Dad's home made Italian style food. My grandma was all Italian and I miss the aroma of her cooking on a late Sunday afternoon. But, as strange as many will find it... I still love a Big Mac every now and again. Ciao.
I felt the music sir. I'm not Italian but a Singaporean Indian. After reading what you said, I recalled how my mum used to cook curry on charcoal fire on sunday afternoons after church with the family. I used to catch grasshoppers as a kid while waiting for my meal in 1979. Thanks for the beautiful music sir.
Love it! A nicely background for the songs name, im impressed, or i shouldn't, your the best! I hope that you some day will compose a tune that is much as motivating as "Something from Nowhere". It is just amazing and I listen to it everytime I go to school (bought your songs on your website)
Since I play it so often, It allways going to remind me of authumn. Lovely
But what I really love is your musical "idea" and creativity, the connection you did with the SLOW FOOD "movement" and what is concerned within...is very beautiful and so true!
Really interesting background to the name of this song. I think you did a great job of capturing the exact emotion you were going for. Beautiful piece :)
Beautiful Staffan....there seems to be a beautiful sychronisity between your postings and my activity at times!!! I got home and saw your new posting and clicked it to start playing, and went to the kitchen to tend the batch of apple butter I was making from some local apples. Your song complimented the earthy smells wonderfully, and also inspired the addition of some lemon zest; to mirror the fresh sparkle that I hear in this piece...the butter turned out wonderfully...just like the song..peace
As a fan of heavy metal and guitars in general I find a lot of people to be easily impressed by fast licks and arpeggios and such. But sometimes it's songs like this that can really touch your soul, this is beautiful. :D
The Brunner seems to be your prefered guitar these days - I had a close look at them at the music fair in frankfurt. Fine little instruments with an individual voice. Wionderful!
Cheers and have a good appetite with your next meal,
Very good, but isn't your concept a bit off? Like, the point of the slow cooking thing is so the food is perfect, flawless. By not editing and doing it first take, isn't that like fast food more than slow food?

Hi,
Sorry, I don't have any tabs. The tuning is DGDGAD and I think you can pick it out by looking at the video, The chord changes are quite slow.
I would love to hear your version.
Best regards
