if you want tips on how to play like the ventures the trick is all fender equipment i use a fender tele and it sounds really good for ventures kinda music but the best guitar is a fender stratocaster for that kind of music its fantastic and then u need a vintage 1960's fender amp like a fender black face or a fender 60;s deville and the most important is your reverb when i play that kinda music i use a heavy load of REVERB the best reverb pedal u could get is a Boss Reverb pedal

From one guitar player to the next, that's excellent playing. I grew up with the Ventures and absolutely love playing their songs too. Question, the back track, is that just drums playing? Did you create that yourself or did you get it from somewhere. I'm trying to my hands on some backtracks myself to play along with. I love perfidia, one of my all time favorites. Arigatou WolfRun59. I hookup my guitar to Boss GT-10 effect pedal then that goes into Fender Twin amp. Backing track music come from PA system,then both video and sound are picked up by my video camera. Thanks again for watching.
