what drivers are u trying to install . u can run the main ones off the disk . and just open them indivuallly form the file explorer .. i can find link i dl some stuff from asus website, but most arent needed
its alrite,i just solved it. im using the same driver as i used b4 w/ vista 64. but "Aero" is still not working, idk why. oh well. now im gonna try oc my chip lil by little, n hopefuly i'll be able to reach 4Ghz w/out crashing.
Aero probabbly working, but did you install the LASTEST nvidia WHQL drivers for windows 7 x64 bit, beta? it should work, also for overclocking. what type of ram are you running. Try these settings these first, also the overclock has nothing to do with drivers.
Try using turbo mode, and a bclk of 160. voltages for cpu is 1.30 dram 1.656, qpi 1.30, rampage as undervoltaging issues with mine. try these, and start to amp up the bclk little by little and watch ur dram frequency. Hope this helps.
lol actually issues are solved. idk what was bugging my system but i tested it, prime 95 @ 4GHz for overnight, and it went just fine. but still some drivers are not installed, but the heck w/ that, since i will change my HD for my OS anyway in anytime soon. but thnx for the suggestion.
ahh dude, i still have the pic, but i dont have the link. i found it long time ago. just google megan fox n ur resolution, or if u wish i can send it to ur email. thnx for ur advice btw, im gon try it now.
I didn't realize that was Megan Fox, I didn't know she could look that good. I found the pic btw. But anyway, hope everything goes well with your comp.
I think CoreTemp is probably telling you the correct temp if your CPU is 27C in BIOS. Reason why is that your CPU temp will go up slightly from just cold booting into BIOS vs. being on for a while and checking temps in the operating system. Cores, run a little hotter than the overall CPU temp. Second thing is: download the Vista 64-bit drivers and install them, install the Nvidia Win 7 drivers. Everything should work, Windows 7 is based on Vista core, so for I haven't had any issues with win 7.
yea dude, i was making vid of doing vantage, cpu@4.1 and GPU@703, n it fuckin crashed. lol, im trying to stay low w/ 3.2GHz now, n work my way up till i solve this driver bullshit.
best thing to do is go in your bios see the temps and compare the 2 and or download about 5 or 6 different temperature readers and see witch ones match
in bios cpu temp is 27'C so i'd go with real temp. but i had to underclock my shit to 3.2 n run prime95 for tonight, and try to oc by .2GHz day by day n keep running prime95. n see what'll happen.
nice wallpaper =D

the core temp seems more reliable as 20s temps even on water seems pretty low.
