Basically, I just ran the burner system per norm, flowing the hot water out of boiler, and through the house. The return water is still warm, and as the house tiles heat up, it can be 110F to 120F return water temp. So that's what was flowing into the reservoir.  One extra long day and a couple normal run days got it up to temp. Reservoir drops about 10F to 20F in a day. Boiler then heats from ~100F rather than 50F, so house warms quickly in AMs when I turn boiler on.

How long did it take to get the storage tank up to operating temperature? Have you used it in its intending purpose and how long will the tank heat the house?

Hi. yes, when I get it dialed in to a respectable efficiency, then I'll begin fabrication for sale. I still need to better match / improve the turbine performance. Initial test runs went great and established that the new turbine geometry is super quiet, suitable for use in a home heat and power (electricity and heat) application. next, I need to ramp up the torque and efficiency. After that, yes, I'll be ready to begin sales. Same goes for burner and heat exchanger.

I'll show the ash clean out in a future video. This is just a prototype though, so I just set the burner on the ground. It has an 8" hole in the center the ashes fall through into a hole under the burner. I have a brick that blocks air flow during operation, so I just open up the hole, scoop out the ashes, and plug the hole back up. Future will have a door and ash section.

I hope when you make your new boiler that you show us how to put it all together. I watched all your videos and you don't realy show that unless I missed one. On another note, how often do you have to clean out the ash? And how do you go about doing that. Thanks for sharring
