I do synchro it is hard but it is a blast and anyone else who dose synchro don't let any laugh at u because you do synchronized swimming you let them know how hard we work!!!!!

Synchro is the hardest sport ever!!! I think hockey players should try holding they're breath for 8 counts of 8, keeping they're eyes open underwater for 3/4 of the routine, support sculling like there's no tommorow, smiling even though you're dying of pain, AND being upside down for half of your life.... NOT FRICKIN EASY. And synchro is wimpy??? Haha! No.

Yes I can agree it is hard I was in it for 4 years and i miss it soo much!!! Its the most hardest sport but the most beautiful aside from dancing too.

I agree synchro is hard but we don't get alot of recognition so people think it's the sissy girllyest sport ever. They should try holding their breath while doing this and not touching the ground! Ny way the Canadians r rele good!

synchro is so darn hard its not funny. i hate it when people refer to us as the "failed swimmers", when its actually a lot harder than it looks. no offence to swimmers, but personally, i think its harder than competetive swimming.

the routines pretty cool but the music is kinda bad. not rly sure what it is that bugs me abt it though, maybe its just not the type of stuff i like to swim to, but still pretty good overall

yeah u do need a lot of strength, and yes u have to tread water the whole time,the pools r really deep and if theyre not deep then u have to be very careful not to touch the bottom. also the swimmer have NO say in the music, the coaches pick that, and this is the kinda music the judges r looking for so the ur not distracted from the swimmers...

The routing is great but the music is awful

I wonder if any long term effects happen to your eyes doing this. Like, I'm sure their eyes are open all of the time and doing that everyday for long periods of time...

Not really. In training you almost always use goggles. Plus, once you get used to swimming in chlorinated pools without goggles it's not that bad.

@nissanaltima17 we use goggles at practices and we only dont use them at competitions or when we are preparing for competitions

Synchronized swimming is THE hardest sport EVER ! and you can hear the music underwater, so thats how we stay synchronized.

@TheCommentingAccount it's been a sport since the early 1900's or someting around there. it may not be a typical sport...but it wouldnt be in the olympic games if i wasnt a sport. just because it doesnt have a ball or net, doesn't mean its not consitered a sport :) just the rhythmic gymnastics or something like that.

This is the first time that I saw Synchro swimming, is it hard to do it when the music is on and your underwater, i mean i do synchro skating, n it is hard, but you look like it is harder!
