I just remember thinking this was one of the craziest movies I ever saw as a child. Thought it was awesome at the time. Would i watch it again. Fuck yeah!!!!
Ah the Ice Pirates. Haven't seen this since I was a kid! I saw this on sale at Food 4 Less the other day, could shoot myself for not buying it. You can't go wrong with Robert Urich and Kung Foo robots.
He's right you know. The movie actually does suck, but it is definitely worthy of 80's cult status, and definitely worth checking out. It's also very visually appealing and funny at times. Kind of like Krull, almost a good movie. Close but no cigar

I don't meen to be such a buzzkill, but this movie sucks. I watched it a long time ago, and it's not awesomely bad like "Plan 9 from Outer Space", or "Eegah", this movie just flat-out sucks. "Bust their buns"?: All I can say is, What the fuck!
Actually, you should feel bad in this particular scinario. You are the one pointing your high and mighty finger at me trying to justify the way that I personally percieve this movie. It is absolutely none of your business as to whether or not I enjoyed this movie or not. You didn't see any of my comments telling people that they should feel bad for ENJOYING this movie. You have your opinions, and I have mine. The fact that you have stuck your nose in my views "is bad and you should feel bad."

HUGE letdown.A bad "Star Wars" ripoff with weak jokes.
The time-warp battle scene at the end was pretty inspired,but it could've been better.
