I was about sixteen when David Harris was student body president at Stanford. His words and actions were part of the learning process that made me an anti war advocate and an under age volunteer in the Eugene McCarthy campaign.
Mr. Harris is one of my heros. He is older now, as am I, but his messages still ring true and carrying an urgency that we can little afford to disregard.
David, thank you for your service to our country. You held us to a higher standard and we are the better for that.
