  • You people are so fucking stupid. The original sound is in G tuning

  • @iTechVidsOfficial lol you dipshit. Its in open E. Now who's looking fucking stupid?!

  • Great cover, man!Stones 4ever!Where did you get the tabs?? :)

    Peace :)

  • you need to find some tabs, learn the right way, and then repost.

  • I agree with kcuhcsnicknej,-, its the best over most of the vids out here onto how to play this- Nice job man, -Thanks.

  • best version I've seen. excellent brother. Open E sounds better than open G (which is how I've been doing it) nice

  • m8 is that standard tuning?

  • @zapista21 i think original was played in open e tuning with tremelo effect. nice job wasabi , sounds great buddy.

  • hey, do u have the tabs?

  • hey is dat a epiphone les paul standard????

  • fantastic

  • q merda !!stop!!

  • I love Stones music, I just hate the production of the records. I love the covers, though.

  • hey what do you mean by the production? the quality?

  • No, I mean the production. It sounds muddy. All I really hear is Mick Jagger and the drum track.

  • Rock on!

  • you should try using a guitar slide to play this song, makes the baring easier. But maybe thats just me, since i have long arms and my wrist gets sore after a while

  • This is the first cover I've seen on YouTube that plays this like Keith on Let it Bleed. Like the fact that you didn't add distortion like so many guitar players do when they play this. If you added tremelo you'd have the tone perfect. Really excellent job. Rock on dude!

  • Adieux, idiot

  • It's an Shelter Nashville?

  • what tuning r u in? it sounds good.

  • his played in E tuning. like the original song... it has really nice sound.

  • i bet thats an epiphone right

  • awesome job!

  • NIIIIIIICEEEEE DUDE

  • awsome man what kind of les paul is that?

  • i was only asking jeez

people take stuff so serious on here lol

i was just saying keith - English

    and is keef american ?!

  • nice just work a little on your rythm and your seems just a tad out of tune

  • Kind of...

Here in America we smoke "keef," which is marijuana. However, its the crystals and shake from the bud left over in a grinder or bag. We call it "keef."

So, when (at least for me) refer to a guy named Keith who smoked bud (weed) we call him keef, keefer, etc... Its a term of endearment, trust me!

    Love the Stones.

  • play on a park and get money for a t shit

  • keef doesnt tie on a low e string btw

  • i love this song and you did a great job

    keep up the good work

  • sweet shirt yo

  • very good buddy!!!!

  • well done

  • you are truly amazing.

  • great, enjoyed your playing this great one

  • the song is c# b a b count is 4 4 6 2

  • just correct

  • I do like it more without singing. Mick Jagger can't sing. Good video man.

  • i dont like you

  • i dont lik u either, when jagger leads us in the revolution u will b first for a bummin off keef

  • Hey quick grab this flame shield!!!!!!!!!

  • Your retarded. Not the maker of the video. You did a great job. What tuning is that in?

  • I believe Open E. E-B-E-G#-H-E

  • Sorry I meant E-B-E-G#-B-E

  • Just standard E.

  • Definitely Open E.

  • It's not, it's defo standard E.

    Hang on...

Yep, just phoned Keef, definitely Standard tuning.

Nah, I wish I could phone Keef and there's no reason why you can't play it in open E but, I am 100% positive it's in standard. In fact, a quick check of the tab sites show that no one has transcribed it as anything but standard EBGDAE

  • Those Guitar tabs you mention start out on the D string 6th Frett. Take a look at the video he starts out on the 9th Fret of the D string and plays it out just like in the guitar pro tab I've got and that tab is in Open E!!!

  • Sorry I meant A String 9th Frett is where he starts out just like in my guitar pro tab and that tab is in Open E.

  • Thats just awesome, nothing more. Awesome.

  • Wonderful wifebeater!

  • would have been better with some effects, but still really good

  • damn yourr really good. i like it without singing. this makes me want to get off my ass and learn how to play

  • how can u like it without singing more than with it? the words are powerful.

  • didnt say i liked it MORE

  • oh my bad. i got you.

  • whats the tuning and gimme the tabs

  • pretty good

  • fuck ur pretty good.

  • Zarejestrowałem się z "Coupon Code" NOFEAR na Tonygpoker com. Otrzymuję tu w prezencie 310$. I to całkowicie bez ryzyka! Czy ktoś zna jeszcze inne pokerroomy online, gdzie to jest możliwe?

  • a bit too fast I think.

  • He's using open E

  • what tuning are you using?

  • not too bad...congratulations!

  • Nice job

  • tabs?

  • need better tuning, but you're there it sounds like..tune it up man!

  • What? Out of tune?? No Way!!

    Sounds like Keith lol

  • awesome!

  • Dude - great fucking job

  • Just learn it by yourself listening to a 1972 or 1973 live bootleg , you havent seen me!!

  • eduard0w there said "very nice! your guitar is like mine."

Well, you miss a bit. But it's not bad. It seems like your left hand fingers are a bit hard, relax man. Well, if you let me give you a hint, try playing Tangerine and Thank you by Led Zeppelin, will help a bit. Play the solo from Goodbye to Romance by Ozzy/Rhoads, it's not hard and it will help too.

    Peace man.

  • nice playin.. this is a great video to practice solos and lead.

  • hey nice job,purty good!

  • Nice.

    Loving your White pickups =]

  • no!no!no!not good enough damnit!!the other strat version is better but still not the same.play them along with the original track and you'll see what i'm on about.

  • Sounds really good. I wish I could play the guitar like that.

  • muito legal! sua guitarra é igual a minha

  • it's just a shot away! it's just a shot away!

  • NICE!! teach me?!

  • Is this in standard tuning or open tuning? I've seen tabs that have it standard and in open E.

  • the real version is in open e, you can play it in standard but it doesnt sound nearly the same

  • Rock and roll !!!

  • Hey Wasabi, which tab you using - link please.

    Ta

  • Hey Wasabi, which pro tab you using?

  • What make is that Les Paul?

  • its an epiphone lp standard

  • Good job Wasabi, I'm trying to learn this too. How come you dont alternate pick?

  • idk, i dnt think i need to on gimme shelter...thanx for your comment

  • @d4v34 you don't want to alternate pick unless you have too. you get a stronger sound picking in one direction.

  • not bad, except rythm at some times. We don't see wasabi16js's face but it sure ain't keith Richards.

  • Nice job.. my favorite stones song

  • We're capable of doing both.

  • You nailed it dude! But why are you afraid to show your face??

  • thanx a lot...but im not afraid to show my face, i jus wanted the video to focus on my playing

  • does there happen to be a tab of this somewhere??

  • i got my tab off guitar pro. you can go to www.tablatures.tk and get it off ther

  • Nice but you need to play a telecaster and consume a bottle of Jack Daniels to play like Keith Richards

  • And do a butt load of H.
