@tjcharlier I have a Acer 7745G-9445 and im able to play all those games full settings without lag. with that laptop you can rape those game.

the thing for the touch pad is gay it is completely usless and u basicly have one already if u have a ipod and some of the ethos come with a remote

the touch pad thing also makes it feel like a children toy

@jamesxrx65 the detachable touch pad is actually useful for presentations at school, no need to buy an overrated over-expensive iPod just to do that, if a high-end laptop feels like a toy for you, then my friend you just have poor judgement, the laptop is fine :)

Not really, though if you can pick up some kingston hyper-x it combines higher speed with lower latencies.

@FilmAdventureRomance Depends on the model. If the machine does not come with 2 hard drives you will need to buy a bracket/cover and potentially a connector. If it comes with 2 then obviously you are all set to replace them and it wont be too different, still standard drives inside.

I Guess, I'll have to wait and see what is/not missing, and/or needed.

---I've already checked for the Hard-drive connector cable and saw that the last model 8950G needed one when placing a 2nd hard-drive... ....follow-up...

...a bracket I know, ..is the place you place-screw / hold the Hard-drive in.... -----but ... ...what do you mean by a 'cover?' --do you mean cover for the Hard-drive it-self?.... if so,..isn't a cover needed 'depending' on the hard-drive you want to install? ------like ...Bulk..or not???

or 1 of KHX1600C9S3P1K2/8G --- I've read a review somewhere, I could use them with the i7-2630QM (the IGP on it) .. in the Acer Ethos 8951G. ... Is that thru?... I'm gonna do alot of Video/photo editing on it, so this extra boost would be great..

The one thing I do want to know is, about the graphcs card..

I know the GT555 in this one is DDR3, but did Acer use the 192bit version,... or did they 'again' go for the lower 128bit... ?? could you guys check that in the specs... I've looked for this bit f info anywhere, but none had the machine reviewed.. You guy's are te first I've come accros.

@MeakerSE Thanks for the info,.... checking the 128bit versions power i Decided, that going from the Acer 8920G, it's stil a Great Upgrade! --more than enough for me!. ---Also the look/design of this Beauty is also what standst out among other "standard notebooks... + the Audio!!

Ha well, I hope you enjoy it! I myself have a highly customised 7738G with HD6770M 1GB GDDR5 and 1080p screen! But it's unique so not really an option for most lol.

The first thing I'll do is replace the hard-drives (WD Blue 5400RPM) with the 500GB/ 750GB WD black 7200RPM, and upgrade the memory to 1333mHz,.. or will I not see much difference from 1066mHz vs 1333mHz..?
