  • yes legalizing thizshit

  • where do i sign up.. fuck the government. i wanna smoke my pot and be legal!

  • Stay away from legalization, push for decriminalization. Anyone here really looking forward to roadside DUI THC tests as with Alcohol. We all know THC stays in your system way longer than the "hard drugs". And don't worry some cops are already using techniques, if they think you are high upon being pulled over. For alcohol being legal and regulated (think aboot that part for a minute) the cops sure make a lot of money out of busts. Tobacco as well, plenty of companies are cracking down.

  • Don't get me wrong, I agree marijuana should be legalized, but is that really the NUMBER ONE issue? Really?

  • @GiantSandles Ask the guy in prison for a personal garden. Ask the family destroyed because mom or dad's MJ works better than the Dr.'s pills. Ask the medical user sweating over the urine test at work that stands between him and his livelihood.

This is a CIVIL RIGHTS issue -- not a joke, not a goof, and not just a bunch of stoners wanting to get high. Pills kill every day. The only person who DIED because of POT was SHOT by a COP.

  • @asdfqwerty212 You can point to cases like that for all kinds of issues, I'm talking about for the average person.

  • @GiantSandles I wonder if people said this during the prohibition of alcohol? And yes it's important to us. It should be important to you; but they don't tell you it's YOUR tax money. So why would you care? It's not a "top" issue persay; but it matches with repealing NDAA, Patriot Act, ACTA ect. and many others like it that they ALSO don't tell you about.

  • @lolfuxyeah Yeah, I probably wouldn't have found it to be THE most important issue.

And you're acting like the fact that they use tax revenues is something unknown; it's no secret, and you're no more enlightened than anybody else. So if you could stop pretending that you are, that'd be swell.

  • @GiantSandles Can I ask why you think resorting to insults will change my mind and lean towards your side of the fence? Did I insult you?

You said something, I responded politely; and even sorta agreed it's not top issue.

But OK. Thank you for advice; I will take my enlightenment elsewhere. Enjoy your day.

  • @lolfuxyeah I didn't even insult you, I said you were acting as if the fact that the government use tax revenues to fund what they do is something unknown. Besides, even if I did, who cares? We're not 5 year olds (at least I'm not)

  • @GiantSandles Sad.

  • @GiantSandles Sad.

  • hahahahaha that was funny at the end... this guy smokes :)

  • Whose streets OUR STREETS!

  • 80k sigs and still no action!! Fuck that!!!

  • Fuking government always lies. RON PAUL 2012

  • On the white house site it shows 8 petitions getting wiped out at one time via 1 response its just sad. they took 8 petitions and wiped them all out at one time.

  • The White House shot it down in a response on Oct. 28, 2011. The Obama admin. just won't represent the will of the people that voted for him. Maybe they're more concerned with representing the money that funded the campaign.

  • the link is unavailable .. someone please post a valid link to the petition .. ty

  • My guess is...THEY'LL WAIT FOR IT!

  • WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED! :D

    8===D~~~

My friend thought that was a face. What a stupid cunt.

    WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED! :D

  • r/trees

  • Uptokes to this dud- oops wrong site.

  • More like a way to blacklist anyone who shows support for marijuana -_-

  • LEGALIZE

    LEGALIZE

  • i signed it..i'll spread the word!

  • they are now going after the dispensary's in cali lol obama adminstration and bush administration are garbage, i dont care i dont live in cali but that goes to show you the politicaions will lie and deceive you to get your vote LOL

  • @liberty202 RON PAUL 2012! He wants it legal! ;)

  • Obama responded by raiding medical marijuana dispensaries, disallowing MM card owners from buying guns, and disallowing any advertising for MM.

10th, 2nd, and 1st amendments do not apply to cancer patients.

    Disappointed yet, Democrats?

  • They lie to us every single day! We have no idea what they are hiding and what they are up to. In some states it is illegal to record the police without their consent. Corruption is everywhere. The CIA lost a plane recently in Mexico carrying tons of cocaine. The war on drugs is a big failure.

  • Again, I say, this is why drugs should be legalized!!! The barbaric drug laws cause more damage to society than the drugs themselves do. Especially marijuana! No one has ever, ever died from the use of marijuana! Period! The government and politicians are all corrupt and self serving. The employees of the government agencies are corrupt and self serving. Wake up people.

  • if they pass on this that just shows they really dont give a fuck about what we think. fuck the government!

  • Oh he made a jokey joke.

  • Marijuana is the BEST CURE for CANCER. Big Pharma/Gov hates that.

Marijuana STOPS all Cancerous Tumor Growth AND PREVENTS Alzheimers...

  • Over 50k signatures! Keep them coming!

  • Why is this still an issue? along with other shit like gay marriage, ugh. Fuck.

  • Go to the site and look for Industrial Hemp petition. The white house will not issue an official statement. And it has over 14,000 sigs.

  • Its bullshit. They did that to keep the Legalize Industrial Hemp petition on the site from becoming number 1. Fucking gotta be kidding me. What he should be talking about is Industrial hemp not fucking marijuana.

  • Fuck the law. Just grow it and sell it. If the pigs come and bother you, just do what they would do to you. Get a gun, put them in their place. If they pull out a gun on you, shoot them, fuck them.

  • Signed it!

  • @apell711 Sh*t I'm gonna get arrested now.

  • 44,582 signatures as of TODAY, WOW... any new news on this yet?

  • All signs point to no. And that is really sad. If a majority want something illegal the government will jump on it but, when we want legalization they turn up their noses.

  • It's raising at an average of 200 votes an hour

  • up to 40,000 signatures on the petition already

  • wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions/%21/petition/legalize-and-regulate-marijuana-manner-similar-alcohol/y8l45gb1#thank-you=p

Everybody, this is a petition to legalize weed, just sign up and sign the petition!!!!!

THUMBS UP SO EVERYBODY CAN SEE!!

  • @deimosmusicprod SIGNED! Although they will probably flag it as "inappropriate"

  • Comment removed

  • @deimosmusicprod a message appeared that i cant access the site

    did they block it???

  • That jerk made three puns, as if stopping the tyrannical abuse of pot users is a joke... prohibition is massive violation of ethics, it's not funny. The Onion did a good piece piss ripping on crap like what Ratigan pulled there; the crap announcer doesn't shut up with the puns, even when someone is dying before him & needs medicine. Pot should obviously be legal.

  • Cigarettes induce in me instant nausea. Marijuana induces instant euphoria. Why would the government want something to be legal if it causes me to immediately feel sick?

  • Vote Ron Paul 2012 to end the FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS' 40 YEAR LONG UNSUCCESSFUL WAR on the people's freedom of choice to consume substances (The end of the War on Drugs).

Ron Paul to BRING HOME the troops.

Ron Paul to audit the fed. Ron Paul to end the "Patriot" Act. Ron Paul to end the private bankers' "Federal" Reserve and the power for them to print our currency (UNCONSTITUTIONAL).

Ron Paul to end warantless spying on American citizens, like you and I

Ron Paul to restore the people's rights!!!

  • @psillyguava But not the right to have an abortion. Paul is a hack just like the rest of them.

  • @CogitoNM he is morally against abortions, but he said it's not up to him to control people's lives and make a law against it

  • i dont like that reporter

  • At @LookHereForBlueWords Keep in mind.. your class is nothing more than the viewpoint of one college professor. Though I tend to agree with him/him to a point.. I wouldn't say never. It's obvious our so freedoms as Americans should amended to say "unless we lose the power to control you". US imprisons more of its own population than all the bad Arab countries like Korea, Iran, or control Taliban had over people combined. Just look at Hemp. WHY IS THAT NATURAL RENEWABLE RESOURCE ILLEGAL?

  • Why are you guys talking about Israel and Jews? What does that have to do with the "420 People" in this world?

  • Legalize it! There is not reason why it shouldn't be!! Unless All substances are illegal!

  • THIS IS WHAT ARIZONA THINKS OBAMA WILL DO WITH QUESTION...........

  • currently it's at 34k votes raising at about 100 votes an hour. it already has close to all the votes from every other petition combined

  • If they would legalize it and tax the hell out of it...you could pay for a national healthcare system 10x over.

People would gladly pay $100.00 a carton.

You would still have to make it illegal to grow or posses in lose form though to hinder people from growing their own.

It would have to be in a pack that posses a tax stamp just like cigarets.

There is no doubt that this can be worked out to benefit this Country.

  • @Obsevant1

i can make my own alcohol so why shouldn't I be allowed to grow my own cannabis?

  • @KavaniLoyan Guess you wouldn't be happy with any kind of law that would make it legal then huh?

If you had to buy it from the government that made it legal,it would just eat you up inside.

You are right though...you can brew your own alcohol but do you? Isn't it easier just to go out and buy it?

I mean, thats what you probably do like the rest of us...right?

I think growing weed is a lot easier than brewing some beer though.

Weed is weed and alcohol isn't.

  • If you were allowed to grow it,then nobody would buy it...you understand? Besides all this being said the alcohol industry wouldn't want it to be legalized because we know it would cut into their profits.

  • i dont think they should legalize everything.. i mean weed is safe and its non addictive.. the hard drugs should still be illegal bc they actually kill ppl and make our country worse. with legal marijuana there will no longer b a need for this "War on Drugs" bc it isnt a war on drugs, its a war on weed that big pharma, lumber cos, and private prison makers are paying the gov to keep weed illegal. hang them all and have limited amounts of terms for poloticians and we wont see such corruption

  • LEGALIZE EVERYTHING! after the junkies who use coke, heroin, meth, ect. all overdose we'll see a major decline in overpopulation, welfare recipients, and possibly crime. then the rest of us can all smoke a joint in celebration.

  • Lol. I bet it "burned through" the 5000 signature barrier more then quickly

  • Government: Cigarettes and Alcohol are and will remain legal.

US Citizens: But we want marijuana to be legal too! Come on! It is 5000% safer than both those legal drugs!

Government: Yea bullshit, is that weed I smell on you? Do you wanna go to jail for 5 years?

US Citizens: (speechless by the complete stupidity of our government)

  • @LookHereForBlueWords

It won't be legal unfortunately in class we talked about how 1/2 the prison population is full of non violent drug offenders and how private prisons have gone up 8000% in the last 40 years!!!!!!!! All the private prisons would be out of business if all drugs or even just marijuana were legalized. Then if you look at it from the pharmaceutical perspective marijuana has too many uses.

  • @LookHereForBlueWords Its not stupidity.... its conspiracy...!

  • I doubt they'll respond..

  • 33000 signatures as of today

  • Government by the people, for the people my ass! The government wouldn't do anything even if 90% of Americans wanted it legalized. It all comes down to greedy corporations and politicians who want their way.

  • @Kenny2k08 Maybe we should hand them a bong of some good shit to open up there eyes (;

  • @fuckoffbitch691 careful, they would consider that assault

  • @judderwocky okay mr. serious.

  • @Kenny2k08 HELL TO THE YEAH!! FUCK THE GOVERNMENT!!!! LEGALIZE IT NOW!!!

  • @Kenny2k08 actually, if it were 90% something would sure change. Problem is, all over the world people have been brainwashed for such a long time, it has somehow become common sense that "marijuana is bad".

  • @Kenny2k08 I wonder how much money the drug cartels are pumping into campaigns? Terrorists aren't the only ones interested in who gets to be president. Imagine what would happen if the drug cartels were no longer the supplier, but people were allowed to grow, cook, create their own - I mean, they already do in some cases! Our govt. needs to stop pretending there is a "war on drugs" because it is thought control. Prohibition doesn't work. Release the prisoners of war!

  • 33,000 now, woo GO WEED

  • over 19300 people signed the petition to replace the TSA too

  • This news reporter is stoned.

  • @ThaNamesRyan ur a Moron !

  • Legalize it. Freedom to use what ever we want is our constitutional right. I want to eat pot brownies when I get cancer from all the toxic chem trails they're spreading.

  • Obama must be impeached for allowing this on the White House website.

  • @HomleandSecurity your an idiot!

  • @68skate68 You're, not your

  • @HomleandSecurity Go ahead and impeach obama, but saying that this shouldn't at least be addressed, well you're a moron.

  • @454ns This should not be addresses, because Big Tobacco does not make money from it.

We must impeach Obama. He does not have a birth certificate proving he was born in the United States. He is NOT an American. Democrats are NOT Americans.

  • @HomleandSecurity I hope you're exaggerating about your first sentence, secondly, the Obama issue, I do agree that he has yet to release any convincing proof of being born here in the US, however, it has nothing to do with being against something that clearly needs to be addressed and approached from a better angle, the drug war is ruining lives over something that was unjustly outlawed.

  • @454ns Obama should be impeached because the Democrats are anti-Semites. Why do the Democrats continue to defend Hamas/Palestine/Nazi Germany? Only the Republicans support Israel and denounce the Holocaust. Democrats keep denying the Holocaust. We need to elect the ONLY party that is opposed to the Holocaust, the Republicans.

  • @PullyElbow27 All members of the Israel-bashing Democrat Party must resign now.

  • @HomleandSecurity Why is Israel so important? I never understood it, would you mind explaining it?

  • @PullyElbow27 we need Israel for the rapture.

  • @HomleandSecurity Again... you're missing the point entirely, that is irrelevant as to what was originally being discussed.

  • @HomleandSecurity The Jews made Obama. Most of his cabinet are Jews, until they left him. Stop labeling people anti-Semites. That is a vicious misguided attack. Have you ever thought that maybe they are PRO-AMERICANS? We should care less about Israel. It's no secret they did 9/11. Just google it.

  • I getting high as much as the next guy, but I'm more interested in the fact that as a result of legalizing cannabis, Industrial Hemp will also be allowed to be grown. That would solve a lot of problems.

  • @ShawnX3 that's true..what many people fail to realize is that hemp oil methanol can fulfill about 50% of the USA's need for oil..thermal depolymerization can handle the other 50%...back in the 90's when activists tried to push for industrial hemp legalization (did u see the documentary with woody harrelson?) the seats said "it's too hard to tell the difference between marijuana and industrial hemp"..idk wtf they were talking about..its actually really hard to NOT tell the difference

  • Sure the WH will respond. They'll say No. Obama said No quite clearly just a few months ago. Nothing has changed.

The better tactic, I think, would be to ask Obama to take it of of schedule 1. No legislative action required; not unreasonable; not legalizing it. Not what we all really want, but a step in the right direction.

  • This is at least the second time people have voted this to the white house. Last time Obama just laughed at it and made jokes, not taking it serious at all.

  • Like the White House gives a fuck what the people think or want. For all of Dylan Ratigan's pompous ranting about corporate money getting out of politics, I've yet to hear him mention Occupy Wall St. even once. Just another MSM puppet.

  • I Dare Obama to chuckle this go around

  • Oh yeah i cant wait to hear some more of their official BS responses. This should be good just like when they made it illegal in the first place. We the people will not beat these corrupt asses at their own game. So why are We the people still playing???

  • God forbid they legalize it, think of all the cops that would be out of work.

  • What's sad is that we even have to petition the federal government in the first place. There is no authority in the Constitution to make marijuana, or anything else for that matter, "illegal". Just like alcohol prohibition, it takes a Constitutional Amendment. Look up nullification and jury nullification - it works. For Liberty.

  • Wonder if a real investigation of 911 could be put on the list for votes?

  • Isn't there something so much more important than pot legalization? Like, infinitely more important? The economy's pretty important, wars are pretty important, the environment is important as hell.

"Naww maaan, we need to get the government out of our weed, or something maaaaaaan. The economy? Pot will save everything, and the environment too"

*Urge to smash made up pothead in the face with a bong ever increasing*

  • @snipzor Hemp was one of our first billion dollar cash crops. It has so many purposes. Which will save us money. If Marijuana were legalized, we would have fewer victimless criminals clogging our prisons and jails, the courts police and lawyers would have way more time and mental capacity to deal with real crime, and cut down drastically on this$20,000,000,000 a year waste of our money. All of those together will help our economy. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @snipzor

I agree - there are FAR more important issues. But given the distracted little worlds most Americans live in, and the inherent demographic bias in online polling, the result wasn't surprising.

That said, I wouldn't write it off as not being a big issue, let alone one of no consequence.

Cannabis prohibition is a huge burden on the legal system, is a huge source of income for organized crime, and prevents both citizens and the state from enjoying all sorts of safe income.

  • @DemokraticRepublican I agree that it is less of a burden on the legal system, but it's in no way a huge source of income for organized crime.

  • @snipzor

Are you serious? America's prohibition of cannabis generates the majority of the drug related income for the Mexican drug cartels - which spill right on over the border into the s/w USA. You don't think their involvement ends right at the border, do you? Or that their major contacts within the USA (when not chicano gangs) are not other organized criminal elements?

Gangs police upstart grow operations - so even domestic production of scale one way or another lines their pockets.

  • @DemokraticRepublican Ah ha, ha ha, no. I've said it before, I'll say it over and over and over again. Mexican cartels don't make their money on pot, really. In terms of the movement of it, west coast marijuana is homegrown, or from California. Northeast is exported pot from Quebec, and even then no idiot says the Hell's Angels make their money on pot.

Extortion and human trafficking is their main money maker, not marijuana. Come on, I support repeal of the drug laws, but that argument sucks.

  • @snipzor you are a fool if you think the way mainstream media has told you to think.. you say we need to worry about our economy.. true, but the gov is wasting upwards of 10 billion every year on the civil war on drugs.. 98% of that money goes to combating MJ.. as for war there you go.. the gov is fighting a losing war with our own citizens.. putting a quarter of a million citizens behind bars for a victemless crime( 89% of which is possesion of small amounts[ less than an ounce]) and as for

  • @snipzor as for the environment.. we are losing our forests and jungles to huge lumber companies, but wait you can do everything you use lumber for with industrial hemp.. also weed creates oxygen at the same rate as it takes up carbon monoxide, so its a closed environment.. ie. no more green house effect so you are dumb and need to open your mind to the world around you.. legalization of mary jane is the only a good thing.. if you want more facts put something in my inbox and i will educate you

  • @snipzor and further more you use the dialogue of a "Stoner" and it makes me laugh, bc you got that from cheech and chong... no one actually speaks that way and you just make yourself sound foolish.. there are people all around you that smoke MJ and you dont even know it... You know why? bc people arent actually like that, just bc someone uses MJ doesnt change them at all.. unless you look at it as they no longer believe everything they hear from mr. president

  • i agree no government should have the right to tell me what i can put on or in or take out of my own body

  • They wont legalize it as it is one of their top "cash cows" and they get more slaves for their Prison Industrial Complex. Period!

  • to all the foul mouth sheeple that leave freak out comments just because your afraid of a weed. i would bet BET!! your family hates you and your most likely abusive. (p.s. you don't have to be a drunk to be abusive. (but it helps)) Oh and before you think about doing anything just a warning I've got a dandelion in my pocket. ah oh my god the weed the weed the worlds ending. bwah.

  • and pause, i mean what you expect. they ignore our beneficial facts for legalization, they laugh at us, and half the country buys into the scare tactics and lies. answer our questions and the answers better be worth our time, non of this same old jargen that we easily dismiss with cold hard facts and common commonsense.

  • The D.O.J disliked this video.

  • I live in a large marijuana growing state it is common knowledge amongst the people in this state that city and County police departments delivers marijuana and other drugs in their mark police cars in this state and to other states. they never get pulled over. But they will arrest their competition and put them in jail at the same time they are delivered in selling drugs. So if you're on a jury don't send some poor man or woman to jail all you are doing is helping the larger drug dealers.

  • This would be a minor success, considered big compared to other recent changes, we need to continue this route and re-legalize our right to put anything into our bodies, without the say of government!

If I want to die from crack, you should support my opinion, because you cant tame my ignorance, its done from within.

  • Well if Mitt Romney becomes president you can forget all about this!!!

  • Internet users make me lol.

  • 18,000 guilty weed smokers. arrest them all.

  • it will never happen, Just a fucking tease!

    ASSHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Maybe Obama is holding out on legalizing weed until the election to boost his popularity, he would have millions more votes. People make the point that cannabis will improve the economy by creating jobs. I think legalization would improve the economy because weed would be alot cheaper and people that smoke would have more money to spend on other things.

  • Fuck legalizing weed, gimme my crack nigga.

  • @redcomic619 lol

  • Herps and Derps everywhere!

  • Don't forget people. in the online white house town hall meeting the biggest question was about legalization and obama laughed it off and said "oh now we know what the internet people are up" too and moved on. THIS MEANS NOTHING. 18,000 people on a petition or 10,000 people sitting on wall street means nothing. bush proved in a country of 350 million they just don't have to pay you any credence. protest and petition all you want.

  • Everybody go to the White House . Gov website and sign a different petition that says "End the destructive, wasteful and counterproductive "War on Drugs" it only needs a few thousand more signatories before it can ALSO be reviewed by the White House... It puts Barack into our shoes and asked him what would have happened to his political career had he been busted for smoking that marijuana he admits to inhaling frequently. Its the better petition in my honest opinion. Sign both for good measure!

  • I signed the petition. Nothing will happen, thats guaranteed.

  • Banks like they're illegal cash to much:

    shine.yahoo.com/channel/health/world-bank-blatantly-launders-billions-for-drug-cartels-then-deny-legal-medical-marijuana-dispensaries-bank-accounts-2554431/

  • Signatures are up to 21,300.

  • Ron Paul said yes to legalizing weed like back in the 80s. I remember him on some show where this asshole host was yelling at him about how dangerous it would be, while literally chainsmoking throughout the debate. He was younger than Ron Paul, & now he's dead from lung cancer. Talk about irony.

  • Thumbs up if the like/dislike bar looks like a lit joint.
