Hey FT, im finding it kinda hard to follow your tabs (or whatever their called) for drop it like its hot as im not sure if they just repeat as do you around that sequence twice? Does the final "pft" just go strait into the first "b".

Do you not find the two statements incompatible? I can neither sing like Jussi Bjoerling nor have I tried beatboxing as you do. But given the choice, I would prefer to sing like Jussi. But as you said elsewhere and I agree, "To each his own."

I didn't make myself very clear - I was being sarcastic when I made the singers comment, hence why my next statement began with "On a serious note". My girlfriend is a singer and beatboxer. I was trying to make the point that the human voice IS an instrument, and beatboxing isn't really any different to singing. You're using your own body to make music. Search for "Bobby McFerrin" for some amazing singing - he uses vocal percussion too :-)

The Inuit do throatsinging which I find equally uninteresting. Their excuse is they don't have any musical instruments.

Before the invention of a primitive flute or drum many centuries ago probably the Neandertals and other primitives made 'music' this way. Given a choice between learning this and listening to the wind blow through the trees, I would prefer the latter. But hey, different choices is what makes the world go around. Go for it man!
