The only administrations I've been able to watch personally were the Bush era and the Obama era, they largely used the same kind of economic policy besides the "Bush Tax cuts for the corporate jet set evil capitalists". Both their policies advocated increased government spending and it is a failure. Go read Road to Serfdom by Hayek. That's what I read.
