Solo work is a great chance to try different things...Daron and Serj have both had fantastic oppurtunities to make their own records, entirely by their own hands. That in itself is an incredible personal achievement. I can tell both of them are elated about the fact they both hand crafted their own albums. John is doing the same old thing but Shavo is doing some radically different from before. Time apart is good. System will come back with fresh ideas.
