Nice I ran a 80' with 231 v6 for a while, changed the rear end to a 5 bolt and upgraded front suspension. did a high 13 low 14 in the quarter but barried the needle on the highway every chance I got. Great times. Need to find another. Nice ride!!!
ours way 3200 without any one in it . all original interior full backseat, outside the roll bars wheels suspension and hood the car is identicle from what came from the factory
nice i love these cars, i had a 79 olds firenza in high school. it had a built 305 in it and i use to eat camaros and t a s up. wed always finish. theyd all be like what the hell is in that thing. no one ever thought ne thing of these cars. they were so light an nimble and true sleepers. like to have it back. love yours nice
thanx for all the great comments guys we had to lift the tranny tunnel up dad bought this car in 82 right here in ohio in high school its gone through many changes but we like where it at now. it was an original black spyder with a 305 and it was from canada.the wiered things were whit interior and the spyder thats on the original hoods is also on the dash
I had a car like this in 1979, I use to live in Shelby Ohio. Although it wasn't a fixed up like yours that was a rare body and color style and I was wonder where you got it.
Very nice. It is in very nice shape. You have to love the rear spolier warping, mines the same way. I got a 77' 2+2 12.47 secs fastest for me but i only got a 327 naturally asperated.
@ChevyR0cks09 NO WAY I HAVE THE EXACT SAME THING!! I have a 77 that looks nearly identicle to this one ^^ with the warping on the spoiler as well... but it's original so it stays. I have a n/a built 400 bored and stroked. it's actually for sale on KSL . COM
reminds me of my 79 monza spyder back in high school, same look but with 350 small block, now i have a 77 monza 396 look up pro street monza, polley4 vids
its a 496 big block at 13.5 to1 compression without nitrous or any other power adders its runs 10.00s all day long on street tires. a good tune will see 9.80s all day and with nitrous who knows a 9inch tire is scary enough right now without nitrous
looks like a bbc .... small block has 4 bolts that valve covers down .. its a big block car ... man i luv this car ...i had 1 in high school ..but nowhere as fast or cool ..
