Nice-Côte d'Azur Airport is the most filmed airport in the world.

The approach (named Saleya on runway 22R and Riviera on 22L) is one of the most beautiful ones.

And to those who criticize, just ask yourself why so many people come to visit Cote d'Azur.

This is NOT because life is more expensive than elsewhere. This is because the place is one of the most beautiful in the world. There are other beautiful places, of course. But this one... is mine ;-)

I live in Nice and I think you have chance to have sea and mountain next to us ! But it isn't so wonderful with the works for the streetcar (or tramway I don't know how you say)! Did you go to the pubs in the old-town ? Don't you think people who live in Nice are'nt good in english ? Lol !

France, Nice is fantastic! From Nice you should try to take the ferry to Corsica where it is very natural and the beaches more beautiful than in Florida!

Palombaggia, Rondinara, Gulf of Bonifacio, Centuri, Lavezzi islands (where all the stars are). A very fast ship is better than a ferry. You can make a trip from Menton to Saint Tropez and take a ferry in Toulon to Corsica. The Riviera is still wonderful.

I was in Nice and Cannes last weekend. It is not beautiful. In Nice the beach is filled with stones which cut your feet. Horrible beach. Cannes is very poor i don't know how they make a festival there. France is pure marketing. There is really nothing.

I've just been on holiday in Nice. I know which beach you are talking about. Jeez calm down will you, its a nice beach - you ever heard of flipflops? Apparently not. Nice also has good places to eat out and if you visit the old town too that's good.

@ceydaistanbul LOOOL you talk about France ( a wonderful country and there are many excellent and beautiful things to do and watch !) but you just live in Turkey lol ! In turkey, I agree there's nothing to do there... oh I forgot , the only thing interresting in Turkey is doing a walk on a camel....! seriously, some cities in France are considerated as one of the most beautiful in the world like Paris! I agree, the beaches are not like in Martinique or fench polynesia but it's great !

Sans vouloir être rabat-joie, laisser rentrer une caméra dans le cockpit n'est pas forcément la meilleure preuve de sécurité surtout dans l'aviation civile française et les récentes polémiques des bagagistes des aéroports parisiens et qui finalement étaient absolument innocents. Si le pilote laisse rentrer une caméra qui prouve qui le laissera pas rentrer autre chose ou une autre personne mal intentionnée ????

It's you who's stupid. The terrain around Nice is extremely rugged and mountaneous. So the only way to build an airport was to reclaim land from the sea.
