I don't believe each child gets enough individual attention from their parents. They have each other to talk to, but a parent-child relationship is important too! it's not irresponsible when they're all being raised in a good home - one in which ALL of their needs are provided, and just ONE parent working supplies enough to keep them from being in any debt whatsoever.
IRRESPONSIBLE is when one has that many kids & relies on others to support and/or raise them.

Aww that is mean.. This is a family who is responsible enough to know what they are doing, they are blessed with these children, are debt-free and are actually doing the world a favor by teaching the kids real morals and values. Think of the stupid irresponsible women who think they can keep having babies, make someone else raise them and live off of the government. AT LEAST Jim Bob and Michelle are good parents and taking good care of their kids, they all seem happy and very educated.

That's lower than NY (11,440), Los Angels (9,126), and Houston (7,512) The entire US population could move to TX and still have over 2.5 acres. Overpopulation is a myth. There is no problem with overpopulation. The reason we have uncared for children is b/c we have irresponsible parents.

The Duggars are remarkably lucky. They are one of the rarest family who have a combination of perfect genes for a long life and for having the healthiest family ever. They are one of the most fertile ever. And that is rare for one who can still have very healthy children without complications, birth defects or stillbirth.

If anyone should have alot of kids these people should.They have the money, how ?,watch the show. No social skills? , parents and kids have TONS of friends, watch the show. No personalities ? , watch the show. The mother spends no time with the kids? she homeschools, these kids are her life, watch the show before you stand in judgement.

TV is only wicked if you choose to call it that. There is a button on it which changes channels OR turns it off. And for the record, I DO go to church, but I don't believe that if you have a truckload of kids, that that makes you any more "worthy" to be called a Christian. Too many fundie Christians give God all the credit (or blame) because they refuse to use their brains. The Duggar's lack common sense and so does anyone who thinks their lifestyle is just wonderful.

What is disturbing to me is that these delusional parents seem to think they are pleasing God by spouting out a kid every year or two. I know the duggars, they live a few miles fron us they are really nice. I just saw Joshua Duggar the other day and struck up a conversation, they are a really awesome family and strong in the Lord... the mother is a little ditsy but sweet lol.

I don't believe each child gets enough individual attention from their parents. They have each other to talk to, but a parent-child relationship is important too! I'm sure Jim and Michelle don't know a lot about their children due to that absent one-on-one closeness. Also, I know it's "unselfish" to be non-materialistic, and considerate, but to a degree, cuz there's a natural need for a human being to express themselves, have preferences, or privacy... I don't see individuals. God gave us lives!
