  • This is a Bible study, in a church? I wonder if they always go this deep?

  • @musicman858 Depends on the church. Dr.Riddlebarger has been one of the long hosts of the, "White Horse Inn" a christian radio program. He is also the author of many books; in general he likes to cover the subject of eschatology.

  • Adam ate equally good and evil. We are not totally evil. We are totally depraved because we are powerless flesh which must sin. Good is not God's righteousness but men do good, firemen do good, soldiers do good etc. The distinction must be made that man is not born completely evil or real evil is not distinguished. Adam ate equally godd and evil hence you have religion not God's righteousness Man can do good but he cannot be anything but flesh, which must sin, thank you..

  • Christ satisfied Nature of God by Virtue in death.Becoming Man learned obedience things which He suffered He knew suffering but realizing was necessary for Priesthood. And having been perfected He became Author of eternal salvation.Christ always perfect became perfect becoming Man in suffering for Priest office. Fulfilling Melchesidek Priesthood for man whom once did not exist while His Priesthood always did.Perpetual Virtue Christ equal to Perpetual Virtue of God in continual Priesthood satisfys

  • Descriptions do not apply to those elected bought with a price given a new nature. What guilt? Christ has exonerated all my sin past present future. I have now the mind of Christ. He says" we" then" those" seperated Whom are you speaking of ?. Im not ignorant, guilty You will know truth and truth will set you free.Melchesidek was not fulfilled until Christ became a Man .Always Priest ! not fully realized until in body suffering,Melchesidek serving before man but completed with man created.

  • well...u have it backwards. hear from the Holy Spirit first then if the bible matches what the Holy Spirit told you...it will be truth. the bible is corrupted and I know this for a fact but that does not mean it doesn't contain truth. to know which parts are not truth, the Holy Spirit must be first.

  • @zerosister I totally agree! You cannot use the bible as your sole sense of authority because of its' very corruption. I once told someone that it is like believing science books as well. They are corrupted too along with the media.......If we use logic and reason we can know truth. Science will NEVER teach us this nor will the BIBLE. ALL have been corrupted. LOGIC and REASON are the only way.

  • @viper2808

Oh my gosh,,,Finally someone is agreeing with me...You are the first. All publishing companies are run by the "Powers that shouldn't be" and that includes the ones who print the bible.

  • @zerosister I know! The same goes for anything though. Any kind of book. I refuse to read science books because of their corruption also. Any history book has been tainted so we will not know truth. Stinks but it is true.

  • @zerosister

What in blue blazes are you talking about? Grab the Scriptures, look at what we inherited in adam.

  • I am "The Witness"...You know nothing about what or who Jesus is. We are not rotten, no good creatures as you say. We were innocent ruined by dysfunction and programming. You know nothing!!!

  • Hello Lane,

I was wondering if you could answer a question for me. When Dr. Riddlebarger mentions "Bercot" is he talking about David Bercot? I have dictionary of "Early Christian Beliefs". Is this the same Bercot that he is talking about? If not, what body of work is he quoting from?

Thanks Lane, for posting this really encouraging...

    Peace

  • @WISDOMSERCH

I believe Dr. Riddlebarger was referring to Berkhof, not 'Bercot'; which is Louis Berkhof who wrote a well regarded reformed systematic theology.

    Peace.
