It doesn't sound like the new iPhone is any better than a JailBroken 3G....Who the eff uses a compass these days? The speed may be somewhat of a selling points, but most people already have the capability to search their phones by with a text string, use voice communications, compass, cycorder, landscape email etc...So what's the main reason to upgrade from 3G to 3G S? Sounds like a great deal to the late bloomers or those that were too scared to JailBreak. What do you think?

It works with the maps now you ca tell what direction yourew facing when you get directions of the maps application...i think its an awesome idea theres a cone that tells you what direction youre facing...

Yea, the rotating map is an excellent feature. I'm still going to wait till the next latest and greatest comes out. My 16gb 3g jailbroken on OS 3.0 will do for now. Thanks for the heads up about the GPS direction feature. Cheers
