the bs commentary always hurt this show, like pretending the 'claw' part of the snake bot was dangerous; it would take mechanical pressure way beyond anything the size of those jaws to actually do damage. also, spike walls will hurt if you are made of flesh not if you are metal, why did they ever pretend that gently pushing a thing onto something as hard as itself would be remotely convincing

Beleive it or not the Snake has actually won a match. It beat another Superheavy named Anubis in a non televised match! I wish they would release the matches on DVD so we could see how it was defeated, even though its safe to assume Anubis was a victim to the killsaws or was suffering mechanical or electrical problems.

Snake should have had a rubber coating over most of the body, so it could grip the floor and not be pushed around. A rubber coating would help in gripping other bots too.

And each side of the body should have different colors, so the controller knows what the orientation of the robot is by looking at it. Would be confusing as hell to be pushed and rolled, and try to figure out what you are doing, regardless of how the controls work.

The guy that made The Snake designed alot of cool-looking robots, but I think he only found success in the ring when he created The Master. I honestly wonder what kind of tests (If any) that guy did to come to the conclusion that The Snake would make a good fighting robot; obviously, it has no mobility and the drill's pretty useless, too, because it can't lunge. Unless that claw could crush a child's skull, I'd say he was only looking to create a bot that looked cool.

Snake's cool, but pretty useless. Easily being pushed around because of no wheels, and mobility almost down to zero, just doesn't make that good of a robot. If your opponent was Psychosprout, you might have a chance, but against a robot with what looks like 8 wheels and huge pushing power, you don't have a snowball's chance on the surface of Mercury.
