This song was a salvation of sorts when I heard it in the mid-80's. I had hit puberty and only wanted girls as "friends" and knew I was different. When your family, friends, and church turn away because of something you don't want-but it is there-you really don't want to live.

I heard this song and knew there was someone else that was like me, and that gave me strength.

Being who you are isn't a sin, but failing to love yourself is. Great song.

hey, there's a vid i saw once long ago, i forgot where where, in it gloria and the boys sing this together, the vocalist is in a blue suit, and the video keeps spinning at certain parts, when gloria starts to sing, he is hidden in the shadows, once she's done, he starts to sings and moves out of the shadows, he keeps moving his head throughtout the whole vid i think it was in the 90's does anyone know where i can find that vid?

I saw every Pet Shop Boys show up to now - beside this one, as it was "only" played in South America, and this version of "It´s a sin" is really amazing...with the Derek Jarman video, the lyrics and the appearance on stage....WOW! :o)

IT'S A SIN will always be my ALL TIME favorite song from any band! And adding "I WILL SURVIVE" into the song just makes it better! I am SURE a lot of those who grew up with rigid Catholic upbringing or like myself went to catholic school can relate to the two GREAT songs put together as a statement!

Great. The flying nun was a nice touch. Neils costume was a bit too straight, something out of the go west video would have matched chris better. I wish they could have done something like this on my live Savoy dvd, I hate anything PSBs that I can watch infront of my mother.
