what the heck? whats the point of using a fly rod when you dont have a crank to reel a big fish in, i mean cranking in a big carp or something with your hands would be a pain!!!
@HaloRocks70 Did you see any carp?? Duh, we were bream fishing!! I've been Fly Fishing for Bluegill for 55 yrs & it's my first love but if I had to use a manual reel , I would quit today !!!! Some of us enjoy Fly Fishing & some of us work at it .
@HaloRocks70 You can land a big carp with a fly rod too and lots of people do it intentionally. Anything you can catch on a spinning reel is more fun on a fly rod. Besides, fly rods are perfect for subtle presentations that you just can't duplicate with spinning gear nearly as effectively.
I hand tie these baits & you can get them from me. Just e- mail me your address & tell me how many you want & I'll send them to you.I charge $2.25 each for them...buy 10 or more they are only $2.00
@jstotesbury I hope Irene is getting stronger by the day. She must be itching to get that flyrod back in her hands. I hope she does it real soon. Have a wonderful day
Nice video.

@SuperOlds88
Thanks
We had planned to make some more videos but Irene had a heart attack last year
& ended up having to have a heart transplant.
She is doing well now considering where she has been ! She is still not ready for the boat yet but we hope she will be ready by next spring.
Keep us in your prayers & look for another video real soon.
Thanks , Jerry Stotesbury (Irene's Husband )
