A friend of mine came here from Sweden to work on a PhD in physics. Being young and foolish he was caught up in a nefarious plot and fell in love with another grad student. Citizenship application turned down. Employed at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab under H1B Visa. Citizenship is turned down again and INS wants to send him back to Sweden despite the H1B. Married and 2 children later, still no citizenship. He was required to return to Sweden for a couple years before citizenship was granted.

After seeing the outcome in AZ. due to federal intervention, she's made some changes to her proposal. She now plans to submit HB49 again, in November. This is what AC is alluding to at 9:15. This woman is not crazy - this is truly happening. One of my neighbors had his cousin from Dubai come over to have her baby here just so it can be a US citizen. Someone once predicted that by 2050 we will be conquered from within - this could be how it happens. If these babies are in fact citizens and they are legally entitled to come back when they are adults, who knows what their plans are. Instead of bereating this woman why can't we just believe what she is saying just might be true.

A friend of mine came here from Sweden to work on a PhD in physics. Being young and foolish he was caught up in a nefarious plot and fell in love with another grad student. Citizenship application turned down. Employed at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab under H1B Visa. Citizenship is turned down again and INS wants to send him back to Sweden despite the H1B. Married and 2 children later, still no citizenship. He was required to return to Sweden for a couple years before citizenship was granted.

The rules are, he was here on a student visa initially, and then on the H1B. The rules just required him leaving the US for 2 years before they would even consider letting him become a citizen... despite being married to a US born citizen and having 2 children... and even working for a national lab. My real point is those so called "anchors" didn't really help.
