He has great structure and technique in that form but his strikes are not very powerful or sharp. That was a great form though don't get me wrong...he just needs to tighten up his movements with dramtic tension and pauses.
Because from visiting all the ATA schools, watching all the ATA clips, sparring against ATA instructors/masters, hearing others' experiences with ATA, I have not met a single decent one.

Can you consider some one who's a 5th degree and can't kick over their waist decent? and I said EVERY school that I HAVE visited are thus far aren't good. Many people in this country knows ATA is just a black belt factory and a more business-oriented organization. Unless YOUR school turns out to be the exception out of many.

I think you are mistaken the ATA for the WTF, because I know for a fact that you cant become a 5th degree in the ATA if you suck that bad. Actually you cant get a higher rank than 3rd dan without being a school instructor, and I dont think you will be a very successful instructor if you suck that bad.
Seriously man, I think you're the only one with a MODERN vid of Chat doing a form (or all the rest of that XMA stuff you posted). Personally I'd hoard the vids like it was foreign oil, but I can see you're better than that lol.
A modern Chat form! Such a great find, man! I was getting so annoyed by the editing lol! Traditional forms coverage would've been best here(1 camera at front-corner, or front-center) I almost couldn't see the best stuff through all the close ups! Anyways thanks for posting this. You're worth your weight in GOLD.

Not all of the ATA is Mcdojo. I'm an instructor with the ATA and some of us are very unhappy with what our organization has become.

ATA stands for American Taekwondo Associasion
It is an Associasion that Mike Chat works with to make XMA more succesful. I learn Taekwondo from there.
