I am noticing a lot of arguments as to what the genre of this music is. I think what needs to be taken into account is that there has been an evolution of music. There are definitely funk/jazz elements, there is also some ambiance, and is also quite electronic. I've heard a good description for this is avant-garde, considering the eclectic inspiration for this music. At this point it may be best to just enjoy the music for its beauty.

There are numerous funk/jazz bands from 60's and 70's that have flute, breakbeat in their songs, the only thing you need to do is to search for them, hear them. For example, search for S.O.U.L. and their song "Burning Spear". It fits good after "Pick Up":)
