Hi, I recently found your channel and I think it´s fantastic and easy to see. Thanks for teach and sorry if my english is not so good but I had to comment. I send you a hug from Mexico and of cours I subscribe. :)
I do not know you...you do not know me, but....I LOVE YOU!! hahaha can't wait to try the french toast recipe...it does look super fancy! STRAWBERRILICIOUS :D
I love this channel, and this french toast recipe is the tits. I made it with strawberry JAM and cream cheese. Just alternated cream and jam, until it was coverd. Then I finished the way you do in the video.
@PrincessDiana161 Yeah, it's the tits. I've made this for myself, and two other people ,each on a different occasion, they all love it!!! Can't wait for my Limoncello to be ready.
You sound soo much like Judge Judy...apart from that I like the idea of jam filling, first time I see it. Definitely gonna try this, and the flavoured whipped cream is genius! Mature women have so much wisdom, I'm over these youngsters and men trying to be chefs, women just have that unparalleled magical touch that makes a dish come to life!
that's why I say that old people and technology dont math, and when they combine well the result is something like this video (something very, very boring) I mean I just wanted to know how to make french toast and I end it up watching these b.ith dumb jokes just to learn how!!!! haha (seriously technology+old people=disaster)
@albinouna right...because you were tied down and forced to watch it....epic fail on your part that you stayed and even bothered to comment on something you didn't enjoy
@PrincessDiana161 i actually enjoyed it very much! for some reason i thought making french toast was hard lol i dont really cook at all but im for sure making french toast soon! thank you!!!
@albinouna maybe you should be a little more respectful towards your elders because the fact that you don't know how to make french toast is a sign that you've been a little too dismissive of "old people". Nice video. :)
i have made french toast with vanilla and milk in the egg mix i dunk the bread in, then added cinnamon. then it just got to the point i was to lazy to do all that stuff(not much but i was tired) then i just made eggs and dunked the bread in to that, and i scratched the milk idea cause it takes away from the purness of the eggs. but i will have to try this i will leave a video response to it!!
use stale bread that was sitting out for a few hours, it soaks up more liquid and doesnt fall apart. Finish it in the oven after the pan and the liquid in the bread turns it into a custard like bread pudding. That's how we do it in the restaurant.
You are amazing Diana; not everyone would have the patience to share a bit of themselves the way you do. Thank you and Frank both for such great learning tools for all of us. Take care and since Christmas is fast approaching; Happy Holidays to you.
I am a young mom of three i love to cook with my girls for my hubby any ez receppes u recomend for kids so i dont pull my hair out hahah also do u have a facebook page
Mmmm, I'm going to have to try your french toast recipe soon! with the cream cheese and jam! sounds really yummy! Thanks again for your videos, they are really delectable and very informative!
strawberry jam inside french toast!!!!!!!!yum!, is it okay to add a bit of cream cheese in the filling? or will that make it too heavy and soggy? I really like your videos btw, so funny!
"You can use any type of bread" : try it with real French bread, sliced. First it won't fall apart, then the roasted crust adds taste to the toasts. In France we use dry bread, it works better, and is intended to re-using bread which is no longer fresh.
Finally, if you were in France, don't ask for "toasts français", we have no idea this is called like this in your country. In fact, we call this "pain perdu" ("lost bread") and serve it as a dessert. Kids love it.
You remind me of my grandmother, my aunt and my sister. They try different things to make the food seems fun to eat (since I'm kinda picky... So it's a good thing). :)
Nice video presentation. This was my first time watching one of your videos and I am going to watch more. When I make my French toast, using your recipe, I’ll probably use a Jewish Challah bread (I hope the egg-rich Challah and egg dip doesn’t end up being egg overkill) and maybe add a tablespoon or less of of Kahlua coffee liquor to the topping mix.
Your videos just make me happy I don't know why. I just have to watch at least one or MORE of your videos. It just makes me happy and makes my day. Thank you =]
this video is really great, and that stuffed french toast is REALLY good.
my mom made this cause she thought it would be awesome, and she thought right! lol. but anyways, that stuff is like the best breakfast eva! your videos are so awesome!
I really like this video. Haha! Now I can finally make my boyfriend french toast for breakfast. I don't cook and can't cook. So this video was very helpful. Thanks for the upload.

To add volume to the sandwich, put a cover on your pan while they cook. The steam gets trapped and the bread will absorb it.

Try leaving the bread you are going to use on the counter overnight for firmer french toast. The drier bread makes for less soggy results.
