I think this episode's a pretty good showcase of just how goddamn HUGE the Clone Wars were. There must have been thousands of clone troopers here, and even more battle droids. Both sides were more or less wiped out, but Windu basically just goes like, "Another day, another regiment of clonetroopers gone. Mmm, water."

U have a point about chracter development with the main characters, but as far as developing character for the Clones I heavily disagree with you there. The two biggest pet peeves I have with the CGI one is that: 1. Anakin with an apprentice (For 2 reasons, 1 being Anakins too reckless a character for that responsibility and 2 that it shouldnt be about Anakin and Ashoka but Obi-Wan and Anakin) and 2. THE CLONES ARE FACELESS TOYS. Thats the purpose of having a clone army instead of a normal one.

@Blackdragon52k Well Anakin was given Ahsoka to try and teach him that detachment is okay and to teach him responsability. Obviously something happens to her before ROTS because she's not there and he still has attachment issues. I think it's good to show that the clones aren't just mindless minions. However the clones in Season 4 have become FAR more obedient and more like the clones in the old series. You should give the CGI verson a try :) Its on tomorrow at 8. Sneak a peek.

Stronger than anybody in The Saga , but Mace Windu was the only jedi that dominate vapad and dark force powers without fall in the dark side.

Revan, the exile were powerfull but windu in his time was the best Jedi in combat , not strongest in the force but he can beat anybody in fight.

Windu actually beat Palpatine. It was only Anakin's betrayal that got Windu killed as Yoda had feared all along. Really Yoda could've ended the war before it started. He clearly warned Kenobi not to train Anakin, but Kenobi had promised Quagon his dead master. Had Anakin not been trained by Kenobi, none of this would have happened the way it did.

Palpatine NEEDED Anakin to see that the Jedi were indeed trying to overthrow the Republic--> doing this helped solidify the Emperor's quest to finally take control of the galaxy while painting the Jedi as the enemy of the Republic. Secondly, Palpatine needed Ani to see that the Jedi were going to kill him. Palp planted the seed in Ani's mind that in order to save his wife, he needed his(Palp) help. "Feigning" defeat also brought more conflict in Ani's

I say yes to a degree that the Emperor was "prolonging the battle long enough" for Ani to get there--we see him (Ani) contemplating before actually heading off to Palpatine's office. Also, I really don't think it would've mattered whether or not Kenobi trained him since the Dark Lord of the Sith had implanted himself within the Republic. He had already infiltrated the Jedi Order luring Count Dooku to the Dark side

@2shica I'm gonna disagree with you. I think Anakin being trained by Kenobi was probably the better outcome of things by far. Say for instance your right and Kenobi, decided to honor the Council's decision to not train Anakin. Where do you suppose he would go after that? He's free with no parents. He had already gained the notice of Palpatine. If the Jedi didn't take him in, it would be easy for Palpatine to get a hold of Anakin and train him in the ways of the Sith that early.

I've heard Lucas say for the past 30 years how Jedi are these incredibly lethal guardians, how effortless it is for them, etc. Finally, that is displayed with this video, it makes all the live-action stuff boring by comparison. Mace Windu is almost god-like here,which is very satisfying, but it begs the question -- why use a light saber at all? He's almost TOO powerful. And why can he do all this, but 4 Jedi working together can't defeat Grievious? So many inconsistencies in the SW universe.
