  • It depends on which liberal arts majors you get. They're great to study but college sudents need to be good shoppers to get the best value/job prospects. If you get a liberal arts major you must have a good plan to improve your job prospects. And women's studies, philosophy, or political science are examples of majors that won't cut it in the modern job market.

  • It's true that a liberal arts experience can prime an individual to be an effective leader. You are taught to be an independent thinker, a strong communicator, and perform public speaking on a regular basis in front of your peers. The highest paid people in the world are all professional communicators on some level. Remember, all organizations need leaders. Individuals who can lead an organization to generate the right results are usually the highest paid and well rewarded.

  • Liberals art degree = waste of money. Good luck on those student loan payments, working as a secretary.

  • @Tsugua21 you sound ignorant. Most of top people are liberal art major. At the end of the day its not about what you major in it's about your drive and experience
