i use this mouse now and i never thinking of switching. at least until apple roll out another version. its great. works with both osx and windows. but in windows, there's no swipe. the rest works good. =)

If you want good performing games, Macs are fine.

It's only when you go into modding, overclocking, and serious powerhouse computers, I agree, there's not much available- but that's absolutely fine with me!

@JaredWahoo Yes I agree. Besides nowadays PC gaming is almost dead apart from MMORPG and RTS. All the cool graphics intensive AAA games are to be found on PS3 and XBOX 360 not on a PC and if there is a PC is just a bad console port.

@cinqo7 PCs definitely need a bit of wind in the sails- but on the mac note, with Steam coming to mac in a few days- people are going to start seeing macs as a more viable platform.

Steam also is toting a "one-click compile" to convert windows games in certain portable codes to mac. Sounds like it's a step forward of sorts- but let's just say I'm not gonna get my hopes up on this "one click" tech yet.

If you use this mouse with OSX 10.5.8 everything works except for momentum scrolling in which you can simply run a the following command in Terminal...

defaults write com.apple.driver.AppleBluetoot­hMultitouch.mouse MouseMomentumScroll -bool yes

Also I've noticed the mouse doesn't work at all if you switch to windows OS on your mac. So don't toss away your old mac mouse if windows is important to ya.

It is just bundled with the iMac.

This mouse is a downgrade. Its far to flat and just kills your wrist - its like trying to grasp and iPhone flat on a desk. Multi-touch is irrelevant when they've taken away the great function of the squeeze buttons (to switch apps etc)

this mouse is terrible. i tested it out. if you rest both your finger on the mouse while using it (like we all do) the mouse won't know if you left or right click unless you lift a finger before clicking. yes it is touch sensitive, NO, it is not pressure sensitive. that, along with the heavy weight and poor ergonomics is not worth the purchase. guess i'll stick with my mx510.

Although I respect you as a Mac fan/user JustinBanko (I am an Mac user myself) I have to say that you're wrong about the graphic-cards in Mac's. Although the Macbook Pro (15- and 17-inch) have a very fantastic graphic-card for a notebook, the graphic-cards in Apple's desktops such as the iMac's and Mac Pro's are not that spectacular, especially the Mac Pro as a workstation with just a mere GTX120 is kinda disappointing.

Also, Mac's are NOT cheap, but they are worth the money though!

One of the things I dislike of the mighty mouse is that ball for side scrolling gets dirty and stops working. With this mouse I thought it would be easier, but the side scrolling with two fingers does not feel comfortable at all. Moreover, the mouse being so flat seems not very ergonomic. I am not the best to assess how ergonomic it is but I would say that these two points are my main concerns with this mouse.

Ther's most important PROBLEM!! When you want RESET P-RAM or other thing into the STARTUP screen of MAC..it's impossibile to KEYBOARD WIRELESS, because you will need a cable connection on the Machine.. The wireless Bluetooth function ONLY when the OSX are started.......

That's obvious. When shut down, you'll have to start the Mac by pressing the physical button.

However, if you just put the Mac into sleep, you can easily wake it by pressing the button on the keyboard :o)

yes it does even if it has les ghz. alsoo how fast a rpocessor is depends on how new it is. the newer processors are far more efficient so more ghz on new porcessors is like less ghz on older processors. but if you wanna truly make your computer go faster, ged an ssd. you will see a 10x increase in the speed while a faster processor may or may not give you up to 3x the speed.

Apple is and will always be the number one technological developer of all time. Just when you think things can't get better, they always surprise you with new great technology.
