@yourmom654321 Carter was shot in the Pelican, he has a bullet (or plasma) hole in his chest as well as a bunch of blood on the window. DOT was also urgently telling him to seek emergency medical attention (assuming he was severely hurt). He needed to distract the banshees, and I assume he would have died soon after, even if he ejected before he rammed into the scarab.

FIRST of all, Halo reach is a series of games, anime, and book with amazing stories.

Call of duty is ONLY a small series of games.

Now, I'm going to be honest, call of duty MAY have better multi player, but halo has a far better story and campaign mode along with graphics.

Halo is like an american version of touhou, exept if you just took out all the characters and replaced them with smart ones and changed their gender. Then added science to it a removed the religious stuff.

@NikoLiberty1000 if i remember right the spartan 1 project was a total failure and most of them died while getting the genetic augments, the ones that lived were placed in the regular military as officers, also i dont think they had the tech for the armor, for the spartan 2 project they carefully selected children that were matches genetically so they would live through the process, look up the timeline in halo wars and read the fall of reach they explain alot though not all is accepted cannon

ok heres how it goes sparten 1's werent much tougher than a normal marine you can even read on halopedia johnson was a sparten 1 which explains his badassness sparten 2's were alot tougher than sparten 3's but way slower which explains why jorge is so big because hes a sparten 2 sparten 3's were basiclly an upgrade to sparten 1's they were faster stronger and mor agile but werent as strong as sparten 2's but they more than make up for it with there speed im sure noone is gonna read this

i dunno of thats particularly true man, the spartan 3s were proberly as strong as spartan 2's seeing as they were given superior augmentations, the reason that the spartan 2's were proberly better is that candidates were chosen from a better gene pool, and most spartan 3's were'nt issue MJOLNIR armous, but seeing as the spartans 3's documented in Halo reach were given MJOLNIR they were proberly on par with the spartan 2's

being he is a spartain 3 he does not get all the augmentaions spartain 2s get because spartain 3s have a much looser qulification then spartain 2s there can be more but they will not be as good the armour is a bit worse as well (for more info read ghosts of onyx)

That after his years of service he has been aproved for the class III(3) spartan program, so with that he becomes a spartan, and since spartans have enhaced phsyical traits as you know, it's only proper to give him armor, wouldn't want very pricey injections to go to waste if he wears simple marine or odst armor. That's just my guess/thought about this.

@TheLegendaryCJ Spartan 3's were kids orphaned by the covenant and were trained since then till there early teens. Once they finished their training and made it through the augmentation process and were deemed ready for active duty they then recieved their armor. They have no prior service

There was originally the ORION project with produced several characters, one of which i think is sarge and then the project was renamed SPARTAN with a new era of technology. The SPARTAN project was originally known as the ORION 2 project but dr Halsey changed the name. Also i think the military jsut took kids if they needed them and jsut made clones that died shortly after, not jsut war orphans.

@Phil2o06 no my freind in CoD it takes a quick time to die and to spawn, and you can be the only really good guy and your team can actually luckily win, but in halo you'd lose badly. halo has a 3 second spawner(can change it in macth options, and also if you betray or commit suicide spawn time changes). i have much more to type but this is morning please reply in the next hour if you're going to cus I'l be gone soon
