I love this video! you really worked hard. A BIG gray Percheron is totaly my dream horse. And you just showed me that you really can get them into the bridle nicely...Keep posting those videos :) I'll be first to watch
Omg that comment made me mad! any body with horse knowledge would know this is a percheron. Clydes only come in one color anyway. I have a Percheron mare (Foundation style) that I show in dressage and she can kick a TB's ass anytime! I'll have videos up of her at some point.
Actually it's common for clydes to be bay/brown, chestnut or black. :) We're most used to seeing the budweiser clydes. Thanks for the comment! I'd like to see videos of your mare, let me know when you post them!
You guys are getting the up..up..up pretty well. I think we both struggle a bit with forward. The Drafts look really beautiful when they use themselves correctly. =)
What? He certainly is a Percheron. He is registered and has shown at the World Percheron Congress. He was originally a logging horse. He looks nothing like a clyde. A "draught" is simply a draft horse, but is more commonly used for Irish Draughts, many of which are not as heavy as the big draft breeds like the Percheron, Shire, Clyde, etc. Now, if he looks like anything other than a Percheron it would be a shire. If you need or would like any additional information just let me know.
Beautiful job! :) You give me hope for my new Perch mare!
