  • was this on Sky HD? missed it first time round. need to check my sky+ box for a replay.

  • I was at that game. I was drinking double stout. Tugay was suspended for accepting illegal gifts at college, and tested positive for steroids...and methamphetamine!!!

  • When was the "Double Stout" stand eventually demolished?

  • hey dad are you going to add the video of the game we went too? and cheers loved the old vid lol.

    ROVERS TILL I DIE XX

  • not one dive or attempt to con the ref...now thats football!

  • they played during rain, hailstorm, snow, lightning and thunder (all in one match), whereas nowadays, if there is a little snow the match is called off.

  • lol @ the crowd atound the ball 0:12 - 0:14...doesnt seem like that was much tactical formation at that time ;)

  • adrian chiles him on the 1 show.not a fan

  • dennis paxton of banbury loves blackburn

  • Those shorts make me laugh so, so long. What would they have said to the

    80s short shorts!

  • hahaha dars giggs lol

  • I heard big sam is after a few of these players

  • Thought they removed that hill in the background. To stop people watching for free. In about 1970 i think.lol

  • That Adrian Chiles must be getting on abit now,

  • I didn't see Tugay - was he injured for this game?

  • this is a 1904 blackburn rovers side, before the first WW

  • I know - I was trying to be 'humourous'

    Clearly I failed.

  • Tugay is probably old enough to have been in this game.

  • lmao what a guy. i found it funny. i like it

  • Brilliant!

  • No, but Alex Ferguson was moaning about something or other that week.

  • No I think he was suspended.

  • @PretzelLogic ha ha h ah ahaha you are crazy.

  • @PretzelLogic lol.

  • To say that we Rovers got beat 0-3,how come it shows us scorig a goal at the end?surely something wrong there anyone got a history bok to confirm the score around circa 1900?

  • it could have been 3-1

  • For one of the oldest rivalries in the game its surprising how few times we have played each other. You were in the first division and we were in the second during this time. Must admit though, your ground looked a loyt better than Turf Moor at the time.

  • LOL! they pick a team to play us in Claret and Blue and they beat us 3-0,but i will tell you that the commentator is wrong by saying that it was the Nuttal St stand,in fact it was the old Riverside stand ,this can be proved by when the camera shot is up the pitch and then pans round, you see that the camera is in the Darwen end of the ground and you can clearly see the roof tops of the houses behind the Blackburn end of the old Kidder St,the Nuttal & Co advert has mislead them for sure,COYBs

  • if it had been from the B/B end towards the Darwen end you would have seen the mill chimney that used to be directly behind the Darwen end,so everything points to the camera being in the D/end,just clearing up a few facts thats all.

  • I believe you are right, it is shot from the Darwen end good call on that. Nothing wrong with a Claret and Blue team winning (really Burnley in Disguise)

    UTC

  • Yep your dead right there, there is no disgrace in getting beat with a team wearing Claret and Blue, just as long as it aint Burnley..LOL

    COYBs

  • claret and blue army

  • blue and white army

  • Come on you Lions!!!!!

Notice the cigarettes as they are walking out.

    There's only one Aston Villa.

  • Come on villa

  • Come on rovers
