Well, i quit due to lack of content at higher levels (77) and joined again this year in January (only for 2 weeks or so, however, as my shitty computer couldn't take the server merge populations.. or viruses pwnt it. Either way...) I want to start playing it again, but comp is still shitty as.

Im so sick of people comparing mmos to WOW. WOW sucks. im sorry but its just button mashing and cartoony gfx. wow isnt the damn basis for all mmos and didnt set the standard for mmos. WoW is a big ass grind fest. yes i have played it and i hate it.

everyone is saying this game is like 10 time harder but so far it dosent look like it ... it may take more skill but it looks shorter and wow looks a bit longer... so in the end it all depends on what you want... so in the end wow vs aoc = both epic fail becuase there both just games that pull you in and get u addicted but wow is more long and aoc is more short... quest / instance wise beucase wow has been out longer... least that what it seems to me

the game is actually pretty awsome, its like a grown up version of WoW. WoW was always too cartoon'y and the combat in AoC leaves room for the player to be good instead of just button mashing, you can actually set where your defense is strongest and hop around so people tend to target that spot.

Thats exactly the biggest problem on WoW. I would want to play it when i get a new pc but then again it costs a lot and when youre like lvl 60+ youve got nothing but farming to do. :|

I have an 8800GT 512. Graphics are awesome, although I'm getting occasional flickering in town, otherwise running smoothly at an average of 38 fps with everything completely maxed out -- just awesome! The graphics are comparable to Oblivion. It's like a MMO Oblivion in many ways. It's by no means perfect, there are many bugs, but that's to be expected at this stage. I've played WOW for 1 year now, but I'm going to stick with AoC.

I actually found 'grinding' in WoW incredibly boring and slow after I played this game for a while.

Not saying it's better than WoW in all things though.

I personally love grinding in wow but thats my opinion. If you think about it, especially as prot, you can get more xp when grinding cause when you do a quest in outlands for example, you get roughly 10k xp, when you grind for equally amout of time depending on the length of the quest you cna get more loots and get almost 2x the xp. about 300-500 a kill and if your rested, forget it.
