It's true, the scene Blackadder realizes the General is in love with George is priceless. I could watch it over and over again a still burst out laugh. THat is comic genius and timing.
I can't stop laughing at how George was about to bite into the flowers when Blackadder said, "Well thank god the horny old blighter didn't ask you to marry him."

Fans of Hugh that only know him in House, MD, should really watch how FUNNY he can be...This and Blackadder III are some of his best work. It's truly Rowan Atkinson's show...but Tony Robinson and Hugh Laurie are irreplaceable, not to mention Stepen Fry and Tim McInerney...But Rowan, Tony & Hugh...man! FUNNY BLOKES!
