  • Thank you for the information. Perhaps I should get me a copy of the book of Thomas Ashley. I wasn't asking for guarantees, just pointers :-). I do believe indeed good intent is key in healing. Namasté.

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. I am only a beginner and I definitely need to work on myself, but I was wondering if I can also use this mantra for my daughter who has autism/adhd? Can I for example recite the mantra for her each day, even if she isn't at home but at school? Perhaps focussing on a picture of her while reciting? Thank you.

  • @kattenbakske Namaste. I am no expert on these matters at all. However, i have personally used this mantra as part of a healing practice for others. I like to use a candle and a picture if possible. I can make no promises about anything but I choose to believe that a powerful and compassionate intention and the grace of the beloved can move mountains. Peace x

  • Beautiful. Thank you for posting. Blessings of Love to you for sharing a means of healing.

  • @GoddessOfGodIs Thank you. If it helps anyone then i am thrilled. Peace x

  • Thankyou! A Baba in India gave me this mantra to practise--by your video I could start the practice in a real good way! I have now listened to it many times and also put it out on my facebook fpr more people to get inspired. Bliss and Light from Ingela - spiritual artist

  • @michellenycyogini Thank you. if it helps anyone in anyone then i am thrilled. x

  • I was very blessed to have taken many workshops with Thomas Ashley Farrand. He was such a kind human being and a wonderful teacher. He really made the material come to life with his personal anecdotes. He always emphasized that you would accelerate getting results with your mantras by chanting in groups. The number of people chanting together woud be squared. So three people would be the equivalent of nine or 10 - 100.

  • @zoelovestodance1 Thank you for sharing this. :)

  • Very nice. I wish the volume were better, though. Namaste

  • @actingup2 Ahhh, well, my 2 year old daughter was asleep in the next room ... :)

  • @rwd1968 recite that mantra lol impressive i am looking for a long distance healing mantra as my father has advanced prostrate cancer and is in a lot of pain and i am 2500klms away not by choice by circumstance and ideas ..

  • @1963rjl I believe that you could do it. The intention is as important as the mantra. Let me inbox you also.

  • @1963rjl google - the Harry Edwards healing sanctuary in England. They offer free distance healings and they are very good. I know you father can get better. Wishing you and your family all the best -

  • @moerzx A poetic translation as given in the book "Healing mantras" by Thomas Ashley Farrand is "OM, O most compassionate Rama, please send down your healing energy right here to the earth, to the earth. Salutations." This is not a literal translation but one that seeks to capture the spirit of the mantra. :)

  • But still I praise your honest effort.

  • A better transcription:

    āpadām apahartāraṁ dātāraṁ sarvasaṁpadām.

    lokābhirāmaṁ śrīrāmaṁ bhūyo bhūyo namāmyaham.

    आपदामपहर्तारं दातारं सर्वसंपदाम्।

    लोकाभिरामं श्रीरामं भूयो भूयो नमाम्यहम्॥

  • @avanwell Yes friend. Much better.

  • Please show difference between aspirate and non-aspirate consonants. And the difference between dental and retroflex. And make difference between a (like unvoiced a) and long a (aa). R is not like English r.

You have to learn some better pronunciation.

  • @avanwell Yes of course. I have had no teacher. I have a tape and that is all. And i am not a linguist. Just a sincere hearted fool, trying to contribute. Thank you.

  • Dude - I forgot the words already - what were they again?

    ; )

  • @steriospeaker Thanks hombre! You need to watch more and study and listen :)

  • Chanting starts at the 4 minute mark. :)
