There is a lot of talk about the way animals are treated now in factory farms, as opposed to the "humane" way they used to be raised. These idiots are saying "the animals are treated well; allowed to freely roam and graze and screw", right up until they're murdered by the same people they claim have the animals best interest at heart. I wouldn't give a damn if all of these animals were treated like kings and queens, and walked on rose petals, if the end result is being murdered for their flesh.
Thats so true. Animals today are rather a market itself...I just watched the film "food inc" it was very disturbing. Fast food chains are highly to blame, as they demand most of the meat in the world. Forcing aniamls to be mass produced and killed in very cruel situations
what about the custom of kapparot still carried on today by some jews? is this considered acceptable by most rabbis or councils today? i'm no expert or authority on jewish law or anything but it would seem to me that the Torah emphasises Mercy and Compassion in seeing the suffering of others above any sacrifice or ritual.
Kapparot is not biblically or Talmudically ordained. It is a non-Jewish ritual and many Rabbis oppose it. Also, Jews are prohibited from inflicting unnecessary pain upon animals. For this reason, many people substitute money for the poor rather than use a chicken. In my opinion, Kapparot is unnecessarywe have Yom Kippur for atonementwe dont need chickens.
"I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he-goats. When ye spread forth your hands, I will hide Mine eyes from you: Yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: FOR YOUR HANDS are full of BLOOD, and your mouths are defiled with flesh," ~So Sayeth the Lord God, Isiah 1:15,66:3
We shouldn't be cruel-but most people are. People don't give a flying flip over what those poor animals went through. To a person, that slab of dead body (meat), "tastes good." But to that poor animal who was a breathing, feeling, living thing-it was his life. And that person took it from them. Murdered. For gluttony. That's sick. That's REALLY SICK.
is this the trailer for the film?

Thanks also for making a differnece between vegan and vegetarian.
Million of cows and calves have to suffer and are slaved for milk-consumption.
Also chicken are killed during their egg-production.
Choose from the huge amount of 40.000 plant based organic food!
Thanks

I love geese and ducks they are just so funny and lovely that it is not understandable in any way to abuse them in that way just seen in your film.
Thank god it is banned in Israel, but still European restaurants have Foie gras on the menu.
Taste is the lowest emotion an compassion serves the highest good.
