TY RICHARD your video tributes to ELIZABETH ARE done with such LOVE.***Do you know why MONTY DISLIKED BURTON SO MUCH? Elizabeth's work with Monty in Sun, Raintree & Suddenly were three of her best where she looked so breathtaking in her beauty. His "Bessie Mae" loved working with him. We will work to keep her legacy alive fighting HIV/AIDS all over our troubled world.*** I hope you continue making these video tribes as we keep Elizabeth's legacy alive for all the young to see what a legend is a
I just can't thank you enough for this lovely video!!! As breathtakingly beautiful as Elizabeth always was, it was in this lovely movie that her beauty was shining more than ever!!! Rest in peace, Elizabeth. A thing of beauty is a joy forever!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
Lovely video Rich, I finally was able to see this movie a few days ago. :)
They broadcast it on TCM so I made sure to tape it and watched it the next day. It is a great movie and Montgomery Clift and Elizabeth worked really well together. This is the third movie I've seen with them and it was definitely a treat. In fact I got an idea for a video of my own while watching this movie! ;)
in the first third of the movie they play the worlds oldest teenagers ... with Saint and Taylor you can "suspend disbelief" but no way with Clift - he looks like a (late) middle-aged man by then - great actor, but bad casting in this case
That is one of the best movies ever made and hilights the plight of a young girl with serious mental health issues. Elizabeth and Montgomery were great together in their movies.
nice movie i watched it! best actors! 12 points 4them! cheers 2elizabeth taylor! queen of hollywood 4ever! my fav, movie star legend!!)2bad montgomery, clift isnt around anny more may he rip- i'm sadden to hear that paul newman past away? my sister told me! 2bad now he to is gone' may he allso rip- wel all least they left uss manny good memorys! to be proud of them! &to remember them 4ever!! i'will honor&carie them with me 4rest of my life!hollywood legends! 4ever! in my hart!
When my father was 13 he lived on N. 4th Street in Danville and watched them film this movie at the "house" that is actually still there in Danville KY on 3rd and Lexington Ave. He is now buried in Lexington Ave. Cemetry still over looking the house. The beauty he loved he overlooks now. The house still looks the same.

"What wonderful friends. What wonderful soulmates. Montgomery belonged in the modern world of today whereas Elizabeth Taylor is timeless."
You are SO RIGHT!!!!! Thank you for posting this. I can never get enough of Monty and Bessie together!!!!! They were true soulmates!
Monty truly should have been a part of our world today.

It was really spectacular back them to have such a part of Hollywood in such a small town. Your father was ver lucky.
