9 months is a long time, as I mentioned earlier <20 weeks is possible but the earlier you abort the less complications there are as the embryonic and fetal stage is the very early stage.

The term African American might be getting a bit old. But is used because these people were lifted straight out of Africa and simply put in america. They didnt EVOLVE out of Africa over thousands of years like us Europeans did.

When we say "American", it uniquely describes citizens of the United States of America, simply because saying we are "United States of Americans" would sound incredibly awkward. Canadians don't refer to themselves as Americans. Mexicans don't refer to themselves as Americans.

There is such a huge cultural and genetic diversity in Africa that harkening to the continent as a whole does not make much sense though. Irish and Chinese persons are often genetically closer than Africans from neighboring villages.

The term African American might be getting a bit old. But is used because these people were lifted straight out of Africa and simply put in america. They didnt EVOLVE out of Africa over thousands of years like us Europeans did.

Yeah. Identifying as "African-American" is ridiculous. We are native to North America. We're Americans. We've been here for hundreds of years.
Because of DNA testing, I know what African tribes I share ancestry with. I still won't identify as Sudanese-American or Cameroonian-American though. If those people cared anything about my ancestors I wouldn't be in this hemisphere right now.

When we say "American", it uniquely describes citizens of the United States of America, simply because saying we are "United States of Americans" would sound incredibly awkward. Canadians don't refer to themselves as Americans. Mexicans don't refer to themselves as Americans.

Technically the word country means "land," and can refer to areas either smaller or larger than the political borders of a nation-state. (Also note that by itself the word nation properly denotes an ethnic group rather than an area controlled by a government.)
There is such a huge cultural and genetic diversity in Africa that harkening to the continent as a whole does not make much sense though. Irish and Chinese persons are often genetically closer than Africans from neighboring villages.

I can't find my original comment, but I don't think that I said anything about people in villages in Africa being unfriendly, primitive, or violent towards each other. I believe that I simply said that there is such diversity there there we should not lump them all together. It is silly to try to closely associate race or cultures that have less in common with each other than everyone else in the world.

Dude Everyone in USA came from some where except native Indians. In USA we have Japanese Americans, Italian Americans, etc. The reason why you have African American to identity blacks in America is becuase most black Americans can not claim a specific country in Africa as their origin. Native Indians live in India. The Pre-Columbian tribes (Cherokee, Shawnee, Apache, Iroquois, etc.) in the Western hemisphere were Asians who migrated to the Americas a very long time ago.

Slavery was introduced to America by Hispanics who had purchased Africans from Muslims off the west coast of Africa. Spanish ships would purchase the African men form the Muslims who had enslaved them and then attempt to sell them to the highest bidder. The first slaves documented in the States came to Virginia in 1619, but they are only considered the first because unlike the Pilgrims of Massachusetts the people of Virginia chose to purchase and keep the slaves.
