Apple WWDC08 medical apps

You know I don't know what is wrong with the FDA and why they are holding up the MIM vista application. You'd think they would let people know why in some public statement, but I suppose regulators don't work that way. I'm not a worker for MIM or involved in medical imaging or medicine. I have nothing to gain by their success. I downloaded the app when it was first out it seemed very capable. I wonder if something fishy or just brutally slow and dumb prevents apps like this from market.

I downloaded MIMvista long time ago via iTunes. But you are correct it is not available thru the app store at this moment.

I saw this at the MIMvista homepage:

" Mobile MIM for the iPhoneTM and iPod touch® is the latest product in our development pipeline designed to provide remote access to medical images, a subset of the functionality of the MIM 4.1 workstation software.

The product is investigational and is pending clearance by the FDA. We appreciate your patience during this period."

I'm not in medicine, but I want what MIMVista is making. I'm beginning to think Google Earth can work on iPhone.

I think "Google Maps" will be on the iPhone 3G, and this (on satellite mode) can be similar to Google Earth.
