  • Kind a Sad we lost Cliff Robertson this year. One of his best roles was this one.

  • Once had the original 45 Record and cover in the 60's when I was about 10 years old. must have got thrown out or something, damn.

  • They did there is a link to the TV show of the hunters who look for it

  • A wonderful tribute to a great leader and my favorite president...long live JFK!!!!

  • I remember how horrified my neighbor was that, "Now we have a Catholic in the White House." :)

  • i wounder if enyone has tryed to go find pt 109?

  • @ussenterprisenxo1 Dr Robert Ballard the man who found the titanic claimed he'd found it in early 2002, although there are some that doubt his discovery, since it was a LONE TORPEDO TUBE and not a full wreck. But yah never know.

  • EVERY Senator, Representative and ESPECIALLY The President should have a pre-requisite of having served in the Armed Forces before even seeking elected office

  • Fantastic , thank you. wonderfuly done.

  • If you love JFK, please see the video My Business Was Mankind, a compilation of his most inspirational speeches. There is nobody before or since that could give a speech like this man. He made the hair stand up on the back of your neck. And he believed everything he said, and fought to make this a better country for everyone.

  • I sure enjoyed this.

  • Great video

  • Wonderful video combining the song by Jimmy Dean, footage from the movie as well actual photos of JFK. I enjoyed the movie PT 109 when it was released in theaters back in 60's. Waiting for the dvd to be released soon.

  • I love it!!! Thanks so much!!!

  • Great Job! I agree with the Kriegmeister, It should be a requirement for a President to serve... AND all Congress and Senate as well!

  • @Mamahabu Nice idea, I mean I did. However even in my generation at 40, service is rare. Out of my HS class you can count on one hand how many who joined even in my case pre Gulf War. You would knock nearly every female politician off the list. So that is a lot of gen x & Y OUT THE PICTURE.

  • @WALTERBROADDUS

So did I - none of my friends did - do I think it is a qualification of the Commander In Chief - you are damn right I do. I served with plenty of females BTW.

And I also know plenty of Gen X and Y's serving (including my son)

  • JFK lived on to fight in Washington DC, but unfortunately he lost his battle to life by a cowardly assassin. Not Lee Harvey Oswald but to somebody connected to the Illumunati.

  • @sheltv100 Actually it was Cord Meyer, a CIA agent of 21 years, he shot Jack for banging his wife lol, Meyer is in hell I presume.

  • @CarulornTarcona Where did you get that?!

I bet that he must have made all the money to keep his mouth shut all these years. Just like how Jack Ruby kept his mouth shut all these years making all that money until his death.

  • I have always loved this song and this movie. To see them combined like this is wonderful. Thank you so much.

  • @Gmansmom5358 I'm glad you enjoyed it ^_^ Thank you for the feedback

  • As they would say in the Navy, "Well Done.!

  • @WaywardWind1 Thank you Sir *Salutes* I'm glad you enjoyed it ^_^

  • This video is outstanding. It really does justice to a great man. Thank you!

  • A good song! A good video! About a good man! Job well done!

    And this comment...

    is from...

    Canada!

  • God i love john f kennedy, he is by far my favorite president. Rest in Peace, you deserve it.

  • He was only twenty-six when he commanded the P.T. boat, yet he was wise enough to save most of his crew, as any good captain will do. Here is when he first showed all his potential as a leader. HE NEVER INTENDED TO BE A HERO yet the circumstances made him one. A most courageous man, he never flinched back before any situation, no matter how desperate or unlikely, he overcame war, pain, bad health, political opponents and only a most ruthless and evil bunch of plotters could take him away .

  • JFK was THE Best President We EVER HAD. After JFK was gone,The country did a slow slide into the abyess, and we're still sliding today. The Days of Camelot were Magical.

  • He is my hero as well. I am glad to see I am not the only person that sees beyond all the rubble they have tries to put over him to never let us notice how he really was. The best commmander in chief we could desired for such a turmoiled epoch. We miss you so much, Jack!

  • You are wrong if you think so. THE BEST CAPTAIN EVER, whether of the PT BOAT or the nation. I am almost certain that they get the inspiration from him to depict the figure of an unforgettable science- fiction captain. They both ressemble too much.

My feeelings are too deep for me to say much more.

  • excellent work , on still to this day one of the worlds best human beings , he is still sadly missed

  • Outstanding video creation

  • @WALTERBROADDUS Thank you ^_^

  • jimmy dean liked the name john didnt he?

  • oh cool!

  • Hey pretty good job, I did the slide show before this one. Mine is still funnier.

  • amazing story!

  • Hi Matt, I will tell my history teacher friends to show this video to their students. It's a good device for remembering important pieces of JFK's bio and WWII history. It also exposes them to Jimmy Dean and Cliff Robertson as people who weren't just the sausage guy and Spider-Man's uncle.

    Great job.

  • @mohinderbauer LOL thanks man~! ^_^ I am honored you'd recommend my video so highly like that~!

  • @TitanicMatthew Are you kidding, Matthew? This video should be REQUIRED VIEWING for all students, everywhere! Fantastic job!

  • Great Job TitanicMatthew! i enjoyed your video.

    -jackkennedyismyhero-

  • @pt109girl Thankyou For The Compliment ^_^ I'm glad you enjoyed it.

  • Great job

  • Oh yeah, to my knowledge, the movie has never been released on DVD. It was released on videotape, from which it looks like this clips were taken, but the only letterboxed version was on laserdisc which, fortunately, I acquired before the format went extinct. Now I must only hope my equipment remains functional....

  • I Got A Letterbox Version On Dvd From A Bootleg Vendor A Long Time Ago :-) I Wish They'd Hurry Up And Restore It And Release It. I Got This Version of It Online And I edited This Together.

  • Bravo! What a skillful editiing job. I was nine years old when the movie was released (though I didn't see it until much later) and when JFK was assasinated. Later, as well, I got the inevitable "PT-109" model. But I didn't remember Jimmy Dean's song. Where in the world did you find it at this late date? By the way, does anyone else remember the episode of "McHale's Navy", in which PT-109 is moored beside McHale's PT-73?

  • It's great! Damn great! :D Fantastic job xD It's one of the best JFK videos I've ever seen :D

R.I.P JFK :* We will never forget You! You were far too great ;)

  • Thanks~! :-) The Video Came Out Better Than I Figured It Would.

One of my fav Presidents, He was taken away from us WAY too soon. I betcha he woulda did a Great job straightening us out.

Too bad he wasn't around NOW, we could use some more Good ol' Americans like him.

    Can i get an Amen?

    ^_^

    Cheers~!

  • I have to say. This is one of the best videos I have seen in a very long time. Extremely nice work.

  • Thank You Very Much For That Compliment~! :-D

I'm Glad It Came Out As Well As It Did.

  • That should be a requirement for a president. To serve in the armed forces. To put in your time for your country. (not what we have now) Kennedy rocks forever.

  • @kriegmeister3000 I agree. Nobody adores JFK like I do. But the guy we have now is no dummy. He worked his own way through Harvard Law School against odds that not everyone has.

  • @lovinnotes There is book smarts and there is streets smarts.

  • @kriegmeister3000

    You GOT THAT RIGHT!!!

  • wow great thank you for share here!

President Kennedy is my hero forever!!
